Part 23

Raman reached his office and had just sat on his seat when his phone rang . He looked at the screen and smiled seeing ishita's call ,he picked up the call and said

" hello ".

I- did you reached office .

R- yeah just now . Koi baat hai ?

I- no ,was just checking on you.

Raman smiled and said " yeah ishita I reached office safely, any thing else .nahi bas I was going to make lunch ,so was asking what you will like to have for lunch ."

R- Ishita ma is there in house ,you should ask her about that .

I- haan wo to hai but I thought to make lunch with your choice.

R- care to explain why? I m not even eating lunch .

I- why you will not eat ,I will send it to your office through driver . So tell me .

R- ishita just make anything of your choice and let me work ,I had not yet started my day yet .

I- sorry ,ok will not disturb you . Yave a nice day .

Saying so she hung the call leaving a smiling Raman behind . He then started doing his work with a sweet smile on his face . It was afternoon when he heard a knock at his door , he ordered the person to come in ,still concentrating on his work.

Ishita entered the room and said " hi ."

Raman got bit surprised seeing her in his office and said " arey ishita, what are you doing here ,i told you to take leave and stay in home with ...

I- haan baba mujhe yaad hai ,aapne kya kaha tha ,but aapka lunch bhi to laana tha. Mummy ji took driver with her so she told me to bring your lunch to office.

R- ohh but still ,it was not needed for you to come .

I- I know ,but mummyji and everybody has gone to buy some jewelleries and as I don't know much about jewelleries, I opted to came here and also ..

She was about to speak something more but stopped in mid ,Raman looked at her with questioning eyes and asked " and also, what?

I- wo ,I was ...

R- kya ishita .

I- I can't wait to see you after you said that we are starting afresh .

She said shyly downcasting her eyes, Raman smiled seeing her act, he got up from his place and walked to her . Her heart started beating fast with each step of him, he stood in front of her but she didn't lifted her eyes to see him. He noticed she was fidgeting with the hem of her dupptta which shows that she was hell nervous and he loved seeing this avtar of her . He was admiring her while a strand of hair was disturbing his view ,he removed it from her face and tucked it behind her ear , she slowly raised his gaze and looked at him . He bend a little and went closer to her ear ,his hot breath fanned on her giving her goosebumps.She closed her eyes waiting for his move while he was feeling ecstatic being so close to her . Though it was not their first time being so close but earlier they were not together romantically so practically it was theur first time and both were nervous as well as excited .

Raman reached near her ear but before he could say or do anything they heard knock at the door , both broke apart then Raman told the person to come inside . His assistant opened the door and said " sir its lunch time ,I m going to have my lunch , do you want something from cafeteria ."

R- no, I have got my food from home ,you go and enjoy your meal .

She nodded and went from there ,but not before scanning ishita from top to bottom. Ishita was looking bit different from other days. Everyday , she wore office attires like kurtis and palazzo or suit pants bit today she was dressed in designer suit and also had a bit of makeup , though her marraige sign was bit hidden but still they were making difference in her appearance. The receptionist couldn't point out the difference but she gave her another look before leaving which ishita didn't liked a bit . She already knows that the his PA was friends with Aruna and she will surely convey this information to her . Ishita was lost in her thoughts when Raman kept his hand on her face and asked making her look at him " hey ishita ,what happened you look bit disturbed. "

I- umm nothing, come I will serve you .

Saying so she pulled his hand and made him sit on the couch , Raman got up and spoke " you serve the food ,while I get freshened and wash my hands ."

I- ok .

Saying so she started serving the food ,today she had made Rajma , rice , pooris with paneer curry . Raman came out and she kept the food in front of him , he started eating while she was still looking at him making him stop. Ishita panicked and asked "kya hua,why did you stopped, khana achcha nahi bana hai kya ,khane mein namak zyada hai ."

Raman shook his head in negation and said "nothing like that,everything is perfect,

tell me did you had your lunch ."

I- umm nahi ,socha aapke saath kha loongi but I forgot .

Raman laughed at her words and asked " are uou nuts ,koi khana khana bhi bhoolta hai kya ."

I- nahi wo main ,umm .

R- koi nahi ab yaad aa gaya na ,now eat . waise bhi you know its lunch time so we should hurry ,I had a meeting in an hour ,so you know we should rush .

Ishita nodded and served for herself too , both had their together in bliss ,both were happy with this little improvement in their relationship and not only happy they were bit surprised too as earlier also they were together but they never felt these butterflies and goosebumps before or may be they were so busy in other things to actually noticed it .

Soon the lunch was done , ishita packed the tiffin box back and said " seems it now time to leave ."

R- yeah ,but it felt nice ,I think we should eat daily like this .

I- what about employees.

R- I don't want to hide my relationship with you now ,moreover they have to know someday ,let them explore .

He said with a cheeky smile making her blush , she wanted to leave but before that she wanted to do something . Raman looked at her and asked " do you want to way anything".

I- no I was going .

R- chalo bye ,go safely .

I- bas bye ?

She looked at him with a questioning look while he too gave her same look.She made a dirty face and groaned in annoyance, she then tip toed and pecked his cheek making him understand what she meant . Kissing him softly she was leaving hurriedly but before that he caught her wrist and pulled her to him,she landed directly on his chest, he closed his arms locking her near him , then placed a soft kiss on her temple making her satisfied. She kept her head on his chest and both remain in same position for sometimes just listening their heartbeats .Raman parted after a while and spoke " now you go ,I have to prepare a bit for my next meeting ."

Ishita nodded and left the room.she walked towards the elevator but before she enter somebody blocked her way . Ishita lifted her eyes only to found Raman's PA and Aruna standing there . She scanned ishira from top to bottom then said " is there anything special for which you had dressed like this ."

I- nothing of your concern ,now leave my path and let me go.

A- its actually my conern as you went to Raman sir dressing like this . What wrre you thinking ,seducing him by dressing like this . But you know what he will not give you any chance as he is not interested in girl like you .

I-(angrily)- mind your language Aruna , I don't want to creat any scene in office ,so just let me go either I assure you , you will not like results .

Saying so she pushed Aruna and entered the lift .
