I tried to watch Hugh Grant wala La Nuit Bengali. Such a horribly cast film. Hansa Ben was awful, no grace... poor Bengali pronunciation, singing like a besura bhains. And why the hell they cast Shabana Azmi as the mother... she was giving off MILF wala vibes... did I miss something... was the mother also attracted to Hugh's character in the book?

Tatti film thi... couldn't finish.

Btw, the library looked exactly like the Hum Dil De Chuke wala library... the art director of HDDCS must have copy pasted it from this awful film.
