Today's episode was a total combo of love and drama, of reality and facade....totally wonderful, filled with RanJa moments and surprises.
After a lot of deliberations, Pandit ji declared that Rani's life doesn't have any sort of rajyog....hers is a normal horoscope. Koi rajyog nahi, jootayog hai. This statement is enough of a clue that Rani's life is going to involve a lot of things related to shoes, even more so because of her relation with Raja was based on thiese only. Well, what ever said in astrology need not be true, so let's rest assured that Rani does have a rajyog...with Raja.
Rani is busy with her dialogue Aiyaa aao juthe chappal utaro. One of my favourite dialouges. When Mr Raja comes and gives his shoes, Rani takes it and asks for change only to see his face and smiles and then get lost in him...lost in his eyes. The title track with the eye lock was apt here. I really like the part where Rani even through the admiration session takes shoes from other people in between. Shows her dedication to everything especially her work, shows how determined she can be.
Raja breaks out of the trance and teases her, I loved this little nok jhok here. But this was interupted by some other people. Raja wants her to agree for the pre wedding shoot and he knows what the real problem is. It's not that Rani wouldn't want to do it, just that she won't leave her work. So he attacks right there and Rani refuses and also reasons that she isn't photogenic. I am surprised, her profile and her pouting picture were both pretty.
And Mr Jugadu Raja knows what exactly to do. I loved him here, and his artistic skills. With all the skills and hard work he made a mini photo booth only for her, for his lover. I know he would take her pictures and capture a memory but I also wanted them to take a picture together....more than a photo session, it was a memory session...their second date.
Rani after posing so well before was having a problem posing...was it because she felt awkward with Raja? Maybe, it will take time right. Raja helps her pose and captures the memories in his heart.
Both then come up with a wonderful idea to earn money. Raja hit two birds at once, he helped Rani earn more and Rani agreed for the pre wedding shoot. I love it when neither want to take credit for the success...this is what makes them unique. Raja finally asks for a treat...a treat of nimbu pani with pudina. Sounds good...at least better than a conflict of tea and Sharbat.
They reach home only to find Raja's family at Rani's place. Seeing Asha's face, it felt like she was very happy but the other two were sad, unhappy that he was handing out with her...or let me say jealous because their kids have no much of a personal love life.
While the two have come to extract the truth, Asha genuinely enjoys the time. Or just pretending to. Kirtida executes her plans. Well, can't she just say she needs to use the washroom, it's noting that big of embarrassment. The build up Asha gave was even more funny. She takes Vrinda out and enquires everything only to realise she doesn't hold any secret. At least Kirtida and Gunwant hold the dame thinking, else one asks for dowry and other refuses, how horrible it can be to their reputation.
Back at home Gunwant is trying to make Rani's father spit out the truth but her father is running on a different song only, he wants them to get married where he got married, it was good to know that he is involved in the preparations but still, RanJa jaisi Jodi waise jagah shadi todhi na karogi. But what mattered for the love he has for his daughter.
Meanwhile Rani realises that the chairs cushion is torn, she had to hide it. Raja sees her lost and realises too. Again telepathy or what was it? Mr saviour Raja saves her by exchanging the chair with his own chair. The small gesture here captured her heart again.
On further insistance by Gunwant, Rani speaks up and tells their background. Now this is what I love about her, no matter what others might think, she will not hesitate to reveal the truth. And this will be her key to success.
Meanwhile Utsav has got his father outside to shut him up else he would blabber things. And Kirtida is hidden and is eavesdropping everything only to realise the secret is with her father. However her father is, he will never spoil her life.
Next is the family scene which I always love to see. It's always so genuine, the love is not adulterated. Vrinda like every mother understands her daughter, and starts telling her own story when her husband was different. The pain in her voice was so evident and Rani could feel it as well. And happiness was when Rani's father decides to try and quit drinking. For any family, this would be the best gift. And maybe it's equivalent to Rani's wedding gift.
Overall a very beautiful episode. I totally loved it.
