Maqbool , life in a metro ( he and Konkana were superb together ) , piku ,lunchbox , hindi medium .. loved the roles where their was an underlying sense of humour - caravan , qarib qarib single ..

Someone rightly said Thank you is a horrible movie but Irfan makes it bearable.He really excelled in all the genres.

Namesake, he made such a believable Dad, there was something soothing and gentle and his manner.

These lines are really hard hitting now;

I hate these open endings. But I loved the movie for some odd reason. The last movie of his was Karwan he was the only good thing in it.

It would’ve been nice if they celebrated his movies by giving him awards, he gave great performances but don’t think he got his due. Awards overhype mediocre and over acting performances while ignoring a natural born talent actor like irfan. God bless him

He won national awards an he did win the filmfare best actor in 2018 for Hindi Medium
