Prerna slowly opened her eyes and tried to figure out where she was? The room was pitch dark and she couldn't see anything. Her head was throbbing with pain, she held her head with both the hands and thought " kya huya hain mujhe. Itni neend kiyu arahi hai. Sar dard se phata ja raha hain. Where am I? Main toh apne kamre mein soyi thi toh phir iss andhere room mein kaise ayi? Uff kya ho raha hain". She massaged her temples and looked down on her lap and was surprised to find Kukki sleeping there.

"Kukki, oh my god. Maine toh kukki ko uski bedroom mein sulaya tha. Woh mere pas kaise ayi? Kuch toh gadbad hain." She thought for a while when it dawned on her that Rishabh was nowhere to be seen. She called him, "Mr.Bajaj! Mr.Bajaj!" but no one answered.

Little droplets of sweat started appearing on her forehead out of fear, though the room was icy cold. She started shivering. As she tried to get up, she felt her hands were tied behind and her legs are tied together. She cried loudly in pain and out of frustration. As soon as her cries echoed throughout the room, suddenly a bright light fell on them which made her to squint her eyes and which gave light to only the place they were sitting leaving other parts of the room in dark.

"Hello Ms.Prerna, oops Mrs. Prerna Rishabh Bajaj" a voice startled Prerna. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a shadow of a man sitting on a chair.

"Who is this man? Isine kidnap kiya hume?" Prerna's thought as her eyes grew bigger and her throat went dry.

"Yes, I kidnapped you." Answered the man like he could read her mind.

Prerna was afraid now. What will happen if anything happens to Kukki? What if she gets hurt? Her own child is with her. She was at her most vulnerable state.

"Mr.Bajaj please come soon, please". She thought.

"Rishabh jaldi ayega. Bohot se saboot chore hain humne. Usko lagega ki main bewakoof hu, par nahi. Woh hi agar nehi aa paya toh tumlog mere kis kam ke? Usko ane do, ayega jald hi. Tabtak, hmm, kya kiya jae? Let me think. Tabtak tadpo. Bin paani ke. Usne mujhe 26 saal tadpaya hain. Uski jaan tumlogo mein basti hain. Tum tadpoge to woh tadpega. Maza ayega" and the man let out a cruel laugh which frightened Prerna more.

Canary Wharf, London:

Rishabh entered his office like a mad man. Each and every staff of his has never seen their boss in this condition. His dress unkempt, hairs messed up, eyes red. He looked like a madman. He literally ran to his cabin to see Mehra and commissioner of police sitting there. They got up as soon as the saw Rishabh.

"Hello Mr.Bajaj. I got to know everything from Mr.Mehra and we have started our investigation. At first we want to check your house's CCTV footage. Can you please show us?" Commissioner said.

Rishabh who was carrying the laptop, opened it and started the videos. He said, " CCTV footages were most probably manipulated. Why would anyone leave any proofs against them?" Rishabh voiced his thoughts.

Commissioner stated calmly, "Sir, if this kidnapping was for ransom, the call would have came by now. But there is no such calls. That means they haven't kidnapped for any money. The reason is different. It could be some personal enmity with you Sir because if the enmity was with ma'am only they wouldn't have kidnapped your daughter also. So let's just check if we can find anything on the footages." By saying it, they started viewing the footages and were surprised to see the whole kidnapping incident is recorded there. The camera placed at the main gate even showed the number plate of the car.

They all were confused at first, "is the criminal so unprofessional or is he extremely desperate", they thought.

As they were thinking about it, the landline of the office ringed again. It then dawned upon Rishabh, " that means yesterday's calls were not at all wrong numbers. That means I know the kidnapper as the voice is very familiar to me." Rishabh said.

Commissioner asked him to pick up the call and he did exactly the same.

As soon as he placed it near his ear and said "hello!," He heard the same laugh again. The other person started speaking, " Hello Rishabh, tumhari Prerna aur beti mere pas hai. Par police kiyu bulayi tumne main toh aisehi bohot se saboot de aya tha tumhe. Dekhe nehi kya. Yeh phone bhi Prerna ka hi hain. Number trace karwao unse, jaldi aao. Prerna bhi kitna intezar karegi. Inteha ho gayi Intezar ki, ayi na kuch khabar mere yaar ki" and he started singing which angered Rishabh more. He said, " agar unhe ek kharoch bhi ayi toh...."

The kidnapper didn't let him complete, " Shanth, Shanth. To phir jaldi aao agar tum chahte ho ki unhe kuch na ho. Aur ha Akele ana... bye Rishabh" and he disconnected the phone.

Rishabh was perplexed.

Read all parts in one go. Bajajs seem a happy family. Though you didn't mention about Prerna's upcoming baby, whether it is biologically Bajaj or Basu but Prerna seem very comfortable having him around her.

Now come to the stalker and kidnapper. Who can it be? Earlier I thought few names but then decided against it like first I thought Komolika but kidnapper is a male, then Ronit but he said Baja tortured him for 26 years. Ronit will be hardly 30 then it's not possible that Bajaj knows him since Ronit was a baby, same goes for Anurag, then who it is?
