But isn't Kunti along with Draupadi one of the five Kanyas aka eternal virgins? Thats what I read. Ahilya, Mandodari, Tara, Kunti & Draupadi are called the panchkanyas.

Devdutt Pattnaik's Jaya is lower than even intermediate level. 😆 There's no detail about anything. Till now I didn't read anything that I didn't already know.

There's no mention of Vyasa visiting the Pandavas or him telling about Draupadi. DP has written about a sage named Dhaumya who asked the Pandavas to go to Draupadi's swayamvar in Brahmins' disguise & see what happens. If Draupadi was born to be Arjun's bride, there must be a way Arjun could participate 😕

And also the Karn + Draupadi's infamous suta Putra comment.

And then he explained Draupadi's marriage to 5 Pandavas through Kunti. He wondered whether Kunti didn't retract her words because she sensed there will be sexual jealousy among the Pandavas if only Arjun marries Draupadi & hense stood firm on her words that the 5 brothers should share her.

There's no mention of Vyasa or it being a pre-planned event even in footnotes where as he did put in few interesting points / observations in footnotes in previous chapters. It seems DP was also shipping Arjun x Draupadi😆😆

And looks like the only way to know more about Mahabharata is to read KMG 🤓 Devdutt Pattnaik se na hoga 😆

Highlights of her live -

1) sakha sakhi relationship began during promo shoot. They address eachother sakha and sakhi on first day itself

2) during het firsr cheer haran promo shoot bheem and arjun were very protective of her. Asking her use ointments for her wounds

3) duryodhan use to constantly tease as dasi drapaudi off-screen

4) during one of the promo shoota duryodhan (arpit) asked her to change sides as pandavas are constantly on exile

5) she is looking for a powerful character to come back

And Saurabh was constantly teasing her asking her to sing song

I love them so very much

When did she come live?? I missed it.. 😭

Once he went alone after having intervened in Yudhishtir and Draupadi moment. He married Chitrangada, Ullupi and Subhadra there

Second time was with other Pandavas and Panchali

No idea. The meaning of eternal virgins might be different.

Anyways, I have always thought that had all pandavas married only once. They would have had to remain wifeless for 3 years till their turn comes, and men you know, have needs.

Does anyone know if any of the wives visited or stayed with them except Subhadra?

The wives visited them and they did visit their wives, In fact in Swargarohan parva, many wives are mentioned to be present for their see off. But no one except Subhadra stayed with them

I will confirm after rechecking but as far as I remember Draupadi had made a condition for marrying all five that she should be the only wife in palace. Arjun and Subhadra however convinced her to allow Subhadra stay with them
