Shrimaan Shrimati edited rape dialogues. There was an episode of Gokhale disguised as a director describing his movie plot to Prema. He mentioned about romance, drama, fight scenes and coolly mentioned that it has 2-3 rape scenes. I watched it on You Tube. But dew days ago watching the same episode on DD National I realised that they edited rape dialogues. They surely did it to avoid objection from viewers. I think it was anyway bad to include that dialogue. They even had a couple of episodes where rape was described without seriousness. In Raju Chhilka episode, his crime apart from murder was shown 2 rapes and yet he is turned positive with Koki making him her brother. In duplicate Dilruba episode, the duplicate's crime was mentioned multiple murders and even multiple rapes but in that episode seriousness was shown and he gets sent back to jail later. Dont know what makers were thinking before including these rape dialogues in casual way. It's good they are editing it otherwise such small dialogues can ruin such a good show as people watching today will immediately object to it.

No dear I have never watched DD before tis lockdown .

my grand parents are full of praises about those serials ..but take it with a pinch of salt because their tastes n ours differ slightly 🤔

Why many old ads were in english? On You Tube too we see many old ad collections in english? And there is a series of Amul chocolate ads. Some of these are in english and some in hindi on the same concept. What was the reason behind making ads in english? I am 1992 born so don't have any idea aur humaare ghar TV bhi bahot late aaya tha. And most of these ads are of mid-80s out of which one ad has real Neerja Bhanot(Amul chocolate ad of a kid and mom where the kid plays with a plane). 1 Amul butter ad is of before 1980 where the girl asks butter from everyone in the plane. These ads looks awesome with good concepts which are much better than many ads of today.

Welcome dear🤗. You yourself watched Shrimaan Shrimati so you might have noticed they edited rape line while Gokhale aexplains the movie plot. Good they did because a single wrong dialogue can spoil a good show. Don't know why people did not objected at that time.

The times change and so are the morals. What we feel bad now wasn't considered bad back then and vice versa. If you see nineties movie nearly all the girls who smoked or went for parties were character assasinated. The heroes saved them and they became salwar kameez clad good girls. People took these things lightly then.

Regional jokes and racist statements were much more common.

You can't judge the shows of those times by today's standards
