Epilogue
Ishita was getting ready when she received a call from Raman.
R - Ishita, here everything is ready. Please come on time….
I - This is the seventh time, you are calling me. Raman relax, we will be on time. We are ready, just waiting for Akka and jiju….
She was saying when she heard the car horn.
I - Lo lagta hai aa Gaye vo log. Ok, bye. And don't call me again. We will be reaching on time.
R - Ok come soon. We are waiting.
Ishita went out and saw them.
I - Akka jiju. Finally aap log aa Gaye.
She hugged them one by one.
I - Arey, Tanish aur Ayan kaha hai?
She asked when she heard " hum yahan hai". She turned only to see them coming with Mr Iyer. Ishita hugged Tanish.
I - Kaisa hai Mera dabba (she gave him a nickname).
T - Bhabhi, don't call me dabba. Now I'm a big boy.
I (hitting him) - Ha, bas Kar pta hai, big boy. Kuch ban ja pehle phir bat karenge...
A - Maasi, aap mujhe bhool gaye.
I ( hugging him) - Tujhe Kaise bhool sakti hu mere laddoo. Man karta hai bas kha jau. ( Turning to others) - Akka jiju aap log jldi se ready ho jaaiye, phir hum nikalte hai, Raman mujhe bar bar call Kar rhe hai.
Vandu and Rajeev went to get ready while Ishita and Mr Iyer made Tanish and Ayan ready. Soon all left for Chennai where Raman and ruhi were waiting for them at the new office of Bhallas company. After one and half hours they reached there. First of all they performed a puja, then finally Mr Iyer cut the ribbon and all entered the office.
It has been eight years since ishra got together and then married. Initially Raman want to live on a rented house in village only but when he decided to complete his studies from Chennai, Mr Iyer told him to stay at his house only as Ishita will not be alone in his absence, Vandu stayed in India only as she needed care, Rajeev and Tanish went back to America. Raman left his admission in America and gave entrance test in India only and got the admission in a medical college in Chennai. He shifted there while Ishita stayed back in the village. Vandu delivered a baby boy making all very happy. Rajeev came for the naming ceremony and then took Vandu and the baby with him. First Ishra completed their studies, they used to go to meet each other in between when they got time. Ishita became a lecturer along with handling his father's farms while Raman was practicing in a hospital in Chennai only. Raman wanted to open his own clinic in the village only and Rajeev supported him. Soon they started working for it and within half a year, they opened a clinic and Raman started treating the villagers. Now his hospital is improving with more facilities. Ishra were happy living together after a whole five years. Now, Ishra has a two years old daughter, ruhi making their family complete. Rajeev also wanted to come to his family but first he worked hard, he took his father's business to new heights, earned a name in the business world, helped Raman in establishing his clinic and now finally they came forever leaving America and started his company's branch in Chennai and bought a flat in Chennai. That day all enjoyed their happiness, especially trio brothers. They were the happiest to get together once again. Those eight years were very hard for them as they never lived separately and were the only family for each other for so many years.
Vandu, Rajeev, Tanish and Ayan started living in Chennai while Ishraru were in the village with Mr iyer. One night, Ishita came in the room with the milk for ruman only to see both father daughter reading a chart. Their room is filled with different colourful charts of fruits name, vegetables, alphabets, counting, etc and whenever Raman gets time with ruhi, they play and study together.
I - Raman, she is only two years old.
R - What's your problem if she is going on with her intelligent father?
I - There is no benefit in arguing with you. Have it.
She sat on the bed while Raman made ruhi drink milk and then made her sleep. Ishita told him to have his milk too. He had half glass and forwarded it to her,she smiled and had the rest as usual. She was just sitting and watching them while he was making ruhi sleep. Soon she slept. He made her sleep on bed and then put his head in Ishita's lap. She started giving a massage to his head. It's their routine. After sometime, he said,
R - What happened? Don't you have something to say today? Roz itna bolti ho, aaj Kya hua.
I - Nothing. Just thinking ki….
She was saying but stopped while Raman opened his eyes and saw her disturbed. He held her hand and asked the matter.
I - Raman, just because of me, you left your house, your admission in America's top University, started living and practicing in a small village… your dream... You wanted to become a neurosurgeon but….
R - That I'm Ishita. I'm a neurosurgeon. Study Kiya hai, Kam bhi liya hai. Experience kia hai. You know what Ishita, it's not easy to become a specialist. It takes years to excel in a field or may be your whole life. I had an adequate experience of five years in this field, two years study and three years practice. Us waqt mujhe Meri Zindagi ka ek important part India mein mil gaya to main bhi india aa gaya, University ka Kya hai, padhai to same hai, aur rahi bat mere dream ki to vo to ab bhi pura ho sakta hai. When I saw villagers struggling to get the best medical care, I felt a strong urge to help them first. See, with time our clinic is improving with facilities, many doctors joined us, I can fulfil my dream also in the coming future. I will be practicing as a neurosurgeon also after a few years. Don't worry. Currently, Meri priorities Meri family aur yeh village hai uske bad Mera dream. Jo I'm sure, bhot jald pura hoga agar mera parivar mere sath hai to. Ok now stop thinking aur ek jhappi ho jaye.
Ishita nodded and hugged him smiling fully and feeling proud of having a husband like him who totally changed his own life just for her….
