The episode begins with Raja sketching Rani...what an artist. It was so good, the sketch. I think Raja should do something along these line rather than breaking his head for the shop and the work. Darshana bhabhi advices Raja not to fall into the mess because it is difficult to find Rani...afterall who knows where she is from, Patan or Siddpur. Makes sense but I think Raja will find Rani...do pyaar karne walo ko dur kismath bhi nahi rakti jokes apart, he will at least help on humanitarian grounds. All this just makes me believe that everything is so pre-planned and destiny is the head of the planning.
After realising that Darshana bhabhi is correct Raja gets an idea to look for her in Friendsbook. Firstly should every one you want be on Friendsbook? Secondly what is Friendsbook...Facebook sounds better. Thirdly Rani is such a common name, sounds like he will look for a perfect water drop from the ocean. Anyway he searches for her and finds so many but within two scrolls Rani is found. Loophole here is that he sketched her but confirms if she is the same person with the sketch...won't her face be imprinted in his brain. It's kind of weird, here we are writing a love story between them and Raja needs to confirm if she is the same person.
Mr Raja steps up and initiates their relation by sending a friend request. I am sure Rani would ignore. And as expected Rani on receiving the request ignores it and decides not to accept the request. At times I feel, why can't there be some app with no privacy setting just to contact you friend or someone. Now, what I really liked is the names the two have given each other...Laddu ladki and Laddulal. I wonder where they find such names...Anyway makes sense and seems cute.
After pondering about the situation Raja realises that Rani might not accept the request. And that he must look for any other way to help her out. Now, it seems likes chot lagi hai tumhe mehsus mujhe ho raha, it's more like Raja is afraid of the consequences than her. But I love it this way, it shows that he loves her from childhood unconsciously.
Meanwhile Rani reaches Raja's place, Reshemiya Mansion for work. She is asking for the location, she better learns it, after all it's going to be her house very soon. But her asking the location shows the disparity between rich and poor. It shows that even after being one the richest family in town, poor don't know about them because they are rich by money and not by heart. The way she asks again is an indication of the difference in status they share. It clearly shows that Rani is not comfortable in working in rich places...she is contended with her work at the temple.
On the other hand, Raja is busy in looking for ideas on how to meet her, to help her and save her life and ofcourse save her for him....After so much of thinking, he decides to check her out...well see her picture only to notice the shop on the back drop and not the beauty. Anyways he will eventually notice her beauty externally and internally very soon. I tell you yeh milne milane ka khel hai na bahot hi bada wala hai, he Raja is leaving his house and there Rani is coming to his house. Just a few minutes and they could have met but no, things don't happen so easily at least in serials.
I totally love the fact that Rani stops by the temple and prays before proceeding. It shows her faith in the super power. Now I guess Raja has a problem, his neck always turns towards one side only. When waiting for the rickshaw also he turned only to one side, had he turned to the other side probably he would have seen her and when he sat in the auto also he was turning away from her.
Moti mummy is waiting for Asha's chorni bahu to insult her obviously but also play a game with Asha. I truly don't understand, now that her Mehul is getting married to Jharna and Asha is planning Raja's marriage with Rani why should she interfere. She knows that Rani is poor so anyway Asha's dreams are destroyed. I feel she should have let Asha get Raja and Rani married, then Asha would have been defeated.
What a scene this is...when Rani enters the house. She is buy seeing the house and doesn't realise that she entered the house by placing her right foot first...only thing that was missing in this grah pravesh was Raja and the pot of rice. Anyway, this indicates that her life has been bound to this house...to this family and this bond is unbreakable.
I again like the way she prays as soon as she enters. And ofcourse Moti mummy turning her face when she asks about Asha. Let's get the game started, Moti mummy realises that Rani doesn't know that Asha has called her for marriage and decides to play along. Wah, I like your brains but somewhere you are ensuring that RanJa become a couple.
The scene where Kirtida apologises and Rani thinks how come she changed so fast shows that Rani can identify people correctly, she has the experience and the ability to scan through people. This is again a very good quality and I am sure this is going to play an important role in future.
Special mention to Moti mummy's acting. It was spot on in this episode.
Raja has in the meantime reached the shop in the photograph. It's absolutely absurd to just look for a girl like this but thankfully he gets a clue that Rani likes there. It's rarely possible that you go to a shop looking for someone thinking you will find them but you know destiny....
Raja looks for Rani and reaches her house to find her father and not her. Her father thinks him as Dipin because he is drunk. But, I think this scene makes sense because it shows that Rani's father is happy with Raja and that's why he think he is Dipin and the one who is going to marry Rani. So basically he wants Raja to marry Rani.
On the other side, Rani is cooking. It feels as if she has got married to Raja and has come and is cooking like a bahu. One thing is there, Rani is doing all the rituals even before the wedding Grah pravesh toh ho gaya tha aur ab pehli rasoi ki rasam bhi ho gayi.
I totally love Asha and Kirtida's talks. One side there is overacting ka dukaan and on the other is clueless Asha. What so ever it is, Kirtida is playing the game on Asha but Asha herself got involved.
I just love Rani....muh tod jawab diya Asha ko. It's bad because later this will affect her relation. But it's good that Asha knows about her background....But Asha must understand that more than money Rani will be suitable for the house because she can handle Moti mummy whom Asha wants to defeat. Asha is shocked with Rani's revelation. But it's a good thing....
Asha's talk to her husband is really heart touching. She feels that she was going to betray him, by choosing a poor girl for Raja. Honestly, she must understand that Rani is suitable.
One side Raja is thinking about telling Rani the truth only in the event and on the other Rani is also thinking about the event and winning the cash money. Little does she know that the evening is not going to turn out as she is expecting. Again both of them are in the same lane but I am sure they will not meet.
Dipin and his sweet talks will surely cause diabetes. But one thing is sure he is taking all this. And the destiny played again...It's big game.
Now comes the time for the second meet. Rani thinks about laddulal. And Raja reveals the truth. Rani doesn't want to understand and believe. When Rani doesn't want to trust him, he tell that he never lies. I just love him. And Rani's dialogue, if harishchandra is written before his name. I just love it.
I love the whole sequence after this, when Rani thinks if to believe him and Raja thinks that she should believe him. I love the parallel talk and the scene. It was beautiful.
I am eagerly waiting to know what Rani does to get rid of Dipin.
The episode was not that a good one. I did not enjoy much, probably I was expecting more of RanJa scene. Anyway it was pretty revealing.
