1. I met my best friend on the first day of college when we moved into our dorms. Her room was next to mine so we ended up hanging out a lot and later became roommates when we lived off-campus. She and I have very different personalities but somehow we became friends 😆

2. She is my go-to person! I tell her everything and she never judges me. She has often given me advice or helped me figure out my feelings. She genuinely listens and cares about me. I feel blessed to have such a good friend.

3. It was Diwali but for me it was any other day as I had 3 exams that day. I felt a little sad and missed my family as every year they sent me sweets/chocolates but they had all gone to India that year for Diwali. I live in a state that isn't very diverse so people here don't really know about Diwali. So, I don't expect my friends to wish me a Happy Diwali since there really isn't a reason for them to remember it because they don't celebrate it. Anyways, I came back home at night and saw that my best friend had made me a cake and decorated it with candles (festival of lights) because it was Diwali and she wanted it to be special for me. I wasn't expecting it at all so it was really touching that she thought about me and wanted to celebrate with me. I didn't even tell her that I felt sad and I guess she just sensed it! So, it's true what they say: In college, your friends become your family away from home. ❤️

1. Met at my math tuitions when we were 14-15.

2. Well she is just the best and the kindest human being I've ever seen. Her most wonderful quality is that she's never judgemental. Not only to me but also to strangers. I've never seen her criticizing anyone behind their backs. Very helpful and knows everything of anything😆

3. All the movie nights and sleepovers at our places!

2. Why is this person your best friend- I'm able to confide my feeling about my life & whats going on professionally also

3. Fondest memory with/of your friend- when we went together after schools because our homes are nearby..

@Bold for both - Well all of our best friends have one thing in common - Trustworthiness! We are transparent with our emotions because we know that we can trust them without being judged.

1. How you met- We were in the same group of friends, but both of us did not talk much, but in 7th grade, we were made to sit together, that's when we started bonding.

2. Why is this person your best friend- We both have quite common likes/dislikes and have great emotional understanding.

3. Fondest memory with/of your friend- Whenever I am or she is sad or disturbed, we sit together and talk for long.

1. How you met- I was just 8 years of age when I met him. He came to live in my apartment with his family. He was admitted to the same school as mine. He was the one who approached me with his friendship. He is an extrovert and I am a true introvert. God knows how we became best friends.

2. Why is this person your best friend - To be honest, we are poles apart in characteristics. He is too crazy, fun loving. But he is too supportive and caring and understanding. The saying that a friend in need is a friend indeed has been turned true by him. I have been through the worst days of my life and besides my parents, he was the only one who supported me. He supports me till today also.

But he is too possessive

His qualities made him my best friend.

3. Fondest memory with/of your friend-

1. He is literally a monkey. 😆 in childhood, he used to climb the mango and tamarind trees to pluck them for me. I enjoyed those days a lot. One of my fondest memories.
2. Dance partners in school functions🤣 once, I stepped on his feet and he got hurt... he was overreacting more than he was hurt because I was sad that day and to make me laugh he overreacted.
3. School days! After 10 th he shifted to an all boys and me to an all girls... I miss our school days together.
4. When he Played my fav song Kaun tujhe on his mouth organ for the first time, that too on my birthday last year.

Lol this made me laugh! It's important to have positive and optimistic friends around you as they make you feel the same.

1. How you met

On my 2nd day in institute last year. I was sharing cookies and it turned out to be her fav. She was hesitant at asking for other one, I laughed at it and gave her some more😆

2. Why is this person your best friend

She understands me well and stands by my side all the time. Our likes differ but she still supports me. Last one but an importane one, her sense of humour is as bad as mine 😆

3. Fondest memory with/of your friend

When we were walking through our passage our senior a tomb boy girl who is like the gundi of her batch crashed into me and my bestie shouted at her,"Don't you have eyes? Idiot" And our senior who has the habit of retorting said "Sorry" I was overjoyed. I always stand up for my ownself but after so many years someone other than my family had stood up for me.
