The episode starts with Rani's brother scolding her for saying yes for the alliance. He knows that Popat will bring a Popat like him for his Rani. Or maybe he wants to find a better and a richer guy for his Rani....who is suitable for her. Well, that makes sense too...afterall Rani is so different, ordinary guy is surely not meant for her. But Rani's answer is too good. Rani apni kismath ki line mein apne aage khud bhi nahi kadhi hoti. Uss Popat ke pyaarelal ko chonch pakadke parcel kar dungi pinjare mein. Her line about destiny is again my favourite. And I love the way she called Utsav bhailu her whole dialogue about that guy indicates that she is the master of her own life, that she will only choose a person if she likes him, his personality otherwise he will be trashed. To be honest, this is a special character that makes Rani different.
On the other hand, Raja wants to speak about his and Jharna's relation with his family but is scared. Why? If he likes her and she is good then his family will accept her right, then why is he nervous. Because he does not love her, and he does not trust her. Subconsciously he doesn't like her...He does not acknowledge this fact. Again, he is not able to convey the relation to his family...something or other becomes an obstruction. Why? Because this relation was never meant to be formed, destiny had played a foul game. Some may say it's just coincidence but I believe it's destiny.
Special mention to mota papa's answer to the loan call tereko chahiye toh bata.
Meanwhile Jharna's parents have come with her alliance. He thanks shrinathji for accepting his wish but he doesn't know that things need not happen your way always.
Parallely, Rani's sister complains that she is unnecessarily complicating her life and pouring water on her own dreams of finding a rich guy for herself. This scene tells how Rani's family has different specimens with variety of mindset and though process. One side there is Rani thinking about her independency and on the other there is Chuki behen thinking about her husband's respect. We also have Rani's mother who supports Rani but also makes sure that her son in law gets the required respect.
At that very moment, Mr Popat brings a guy, so called alliance, Mr Dipin. Rani's family finds Dipin as a good guy. Utah is kind off impressed with dipin's looks while Vrinda is also happy to see a good guy at her door for Rani. But as the saying goes, Appearances can be deceptive, this can be a case of betrayal. To be honest, when I saw Dipin, even I felt he is a good guy, but I knew RanJa only will be a couple.
On the other side, Jharna's father speaks the truth, after staying together as neighbours, there has not been a single even where the two families meet at their homes. Meanwhile Raja is admiring Jharna, afterall she looks beautiful in his eyes. But She, she is ignoring him, more just with drinks and snacks....probably snacks are from her own shop and wants to increase the sales.
When her father talks about the relation, I was wondering where is the loophole. But everything seemed perfect. Asha is happy that finally her daughter in law will be from a rich family and that girl is whom Raja loves while Darshana is overwhelmed because finally Raja's love is progressing. Asha even accepts her as her daughter in law. Asha even runs to get sweets. Amidst all this i totally love Asha's expression to Moti muumy...her smile and her head movement, my god. And Moti mummy is smart, she wants to shatter Asha's wish. I just love her way of getting an idea, scratching her nails. Now the catch, he never ever mentioned the name of the groom and Moti mummy finds the loop hole.
Moti mummy's laugh is so evil and yet so convincing, and ofcourse I love her style. Her dialogue with the golmal na ho jaaye is true. And Jharna's mother confirms that it's Mehul because Mehul and Jharna like each other. Raja's face just was with seeing afterall he made a mistake in identifying the true Jharna....even after Rani's telling that such people fool others.
Moti mummy's lines are too good but they are so hurting. According to me her lines and her everything is so fake in this episode. Darshana and Asha are shocked....Asha thought treasure is in her house but the same treasure went to her enemy's house. Raja sees Mehul and realises that Mehul is his brother and so he must he happy for him but what to do, how can he be happy by sacrificing his so called love. Moti mummy asking Asha to get sweets is no less than taunts.
Simultaneously in Rani's place, Dipin and Rani's family are having a chat. Dipin refuses to ask anything to Rani but Rani wants to ask him. Well, this shows how independent Rani is and that her decisions will be taken only after careful deliberations. When Rani says I want to clear something's, I was like done, she will say no to him but she told she wants to work after her marriage. I just love her for these things. After seeing dipin's expression I was sure he will refuse and that's how this alliance will break and that's how RanJa become a couple but, that doesn't happen. He agrees to Rani's condition.
Then we see broken Raja talking to Jharna. I tell you, she is so smart, Moti mummy will find a good company in her. The conversation between the two shows that she played her games very well. When Raja tells that she shared everything with him, I was like someone please teach him that only friends hare everything....had he known that he would have never broken down. And Jharna's reply again is on spot. Devar Bhabhi ka rishta toh vaise bhi dosto ka hi hai. Ultimately she has won her game and now she is getting married to Mehul so where will she see his pain. Even after hurting him so much she is sprinkling salt on his wounds by emphasising that she is his bhabhi. Apart from this she even asked him if she said anything that will indicate that she likes him and after that she says that it is a sin to even think like that. I was like isn't it enough of a sin that you broke a persons heart for your own cause.
However I like her dialogue to her mother, Raja ke dil ka istemal karke maine Mehul ke dimag ka ganti baja diya. But after seeing this I wonder, does she really love Mehul. I mean if Mehul would have refused then she would have been married to Raja.
Meanwhile Dipin says that he wanted a girl who would walk beside him rather than behind him. I tell you this is surely a loophole. And he says that both their thoughts are similar, I wonder how. Raja kind of likes him, afterall he is intelligent and handsome. But Rani again I expect her to find out more about him before telling yes...that's the kinda girl she is.
Popat is brainy, he knows Rani will not agree so easily so he has arranged for passes for Jalsa Dandhiya....finally a glimpse of Gujarat. Like I said pyaar karne walo ko milane ke liye puri duniya jut jati hai, here is the same case, I am sure Raja will also come there and they will meet again.
Asha is again upset that Kirtida ruins she's plans. But she is even more upset that Raja's dream was not fulfilled. And Darshana gives a very good idea to looks for girls in Dandhiya. Like I said before, Raja and Rani have to meet right, that's why this is happening. Asha is happy but she knows Raja won't come because Jharna is now getting married to Jharna. Make sense though, he probably used to go only for Jharna and now Jharna is not his anymore.
Raja is heart broken and he promises to God that he will always consider Jharna as his sister in law. He even tells that it's his fault that he thought in such a way. I just love Raja for this.....a man who accepts his mistakes.
Meanwhile Rani is getting ready for the dandhiya night. She looks absolutely pretty in the red lehenga....She has to...she is going to meet Raja afterall. And look at the game played by destiny, both end up wearing red dress.
And both reach the venue. Rani and Dipin talk generally...i am sure if it was Raja and Rani then we would have got to see something better...at least the conversation would have been better. I totally love the way Raja and Rani were standing, beside each other but backs facing. I expected that Rani will slip and fall backwards on Raja and he would protect her. Nevertheless, when she moves her hair it hits his face. I loved this piece, looks like some chord clicked in his heart or did he like her shampoo (joking)
Overall this episode was good. It was a revealing episode. The ending was my favourite.
