Nageen is rude and annoying but I hope she starts to appreciate haroon because the guy is made out of good stuff. I think hiba and Ali have better chemistry than Danish hiba.

Talking about rude, I remember mentioning the same even when Sultan was pursuing her....She was weirdly rude to him also even before the matters had escalated to the point where she ended up slapping him...😳

Yes she handled the situation poorly there too. She should have not slapped him. Also hiba doesnt suit the anger scenes IMO but they give her many scenes like that Nageen never learns but I am more interested in Haroon character and how he will handle all. Nageen will fall for him but I hope she doesnt build her new relationship on lies and secrets. She should be open with him.

I kind of have mixed feelings about the rudeness. I feel like sometimes women are expected to handle situations with rude/creepy men with more grace and diplomacy than we should be. And we should be allowed to tell strangers to leave them alone without being told we're being rude/unfriendly.

I do think, however, that Nageen does go a little overboard sometimes. And now that she actually works with and knows Haroon she needs to maybe set better boundaries if she thinks he's over familiar but she can't treat him the same way she'd treat some man on the road trying to get her attention.

Agree.

I think Nageen is rude to men because her character has gone through awful situations with creepy guys. It is in her best interests to mistrust all men, as her history has shown.

First with that sleazy employer trying to touch her when she was applying for a job, and then Sultan acting weird by chasing after her.

Then on top of that she was constantly hearing about her friend complaining about some guy who won’t leave her alone, even though her friend was rejecting his advances.

That same friend ended up getting murdered by that degenerate evil man! That trauma alone would make you wary of all men.

And then the icing on the cake was that pervert Anwar that tried to rape her.

So as a result, Nageen has learnt to always put up a defensive wall when she talks to men which naturally comes across rude.

I think she doesn’t want men to get the slightest wrong idea that she’s in any way leading them on, so as well as always dressing decently she is also rude and abrupt because she wants them to back off. She doesn’t want them to even try to get close to her.

I think when Nageen trusts someone she lets her guard down and then talks to them more softly, like she did with Sultan, when they were going through the (fake) engagement.

I think as she learns more about Haroon and begins to trust him, she will treat him less rudely.

Summary ep 18

First half was more or less a repeat of everything before. Nageen has been chucked out of her Aunts home only to be put in a new dilemma with Haroons toxic mother.

She clearly doesn’t want her to be her daughter-in-law and neither does Nageen. I think Nageen felt insulted, I mean she’s not trying to trap and definitly not begging to marry her son.

Poor girl she never wanted any of this added stress. She’s fed up of being a burden on people and of not having control of her own life and of having her world crumbling in front of her yet again.😭

She’s now distraught and the last thing she wants is to be tied down. She doesn’t want to be attached to anyone. She refuses to marry Haroon, but he keeps harassing her about it. It was irritating to watch this when she was clearly telling him to go away.

Glad that she has got away from everyone so that she has time for herself to try to heal and become strong.

On the other side is the spoilt, selfish, full of attitude Narmeen who seems to be of a similar age to Nageen, yet Bi Jaan justifies her tantrums and bad temper (she has heard her shouting to Sultan) because of her age.

One girl is trying hard to be independent and overcoming the struggles thrown at her by other people, and the other who has wealth, status, servants, (and a truck load of attitude) is playing the victim because all of her demands are not being met.

Narmeen is complaining to whoever will listen that her husband isn’t giving her the attention and love she wants, she’s so completely self absorbed and immature. Serves her right for going after someone who clearly never liked her in that way.

Didn’t really like Bi Jaan today. She knew from before how much her grandson once loved Nageen, and even now she is perceptive to know that he is still in love with her, yet still she wants him to pursue Narmeen and try and fix a marriage that has been breaking for some time.

This is why Sultan doesn’t want to spend time with his wife and doesn’t give a crap about her demands or her feelings. Whether she’s there or whether she goes away he is past caring. His heart only beats for Nageen.

Sultan is flinching when Nageen is mentioned but his grandmother said to him when he denies it ‘you are saying something but your face is showing something else’.

The guilt of what he did to Nageen is now consuming him and he needs to talk to her and ask for forgiveness. He is missing her and is aching to see her again. He is deeply in love with her but again refuses to admit it to himself or to anyone. ( his friend totally knows it )😉

So Narmeen is pregnant. She told Bi Jaan so knows that Sultan will find out soon.

Part of me is hoping that this is not true or if it is, that she loses it.

For her it is just a pawn in her marriage which she wants to end as soon as the baby is born.

Don’t know why she is hellbent on expecting Sultan to acknowledge her if she isn’t even thinking of staying in the marriage.

I think it’s her twisted way of getting some sort of revenge on Sultan to divorce him and then ban him from seeing his child.

Narmeens mother is quite sensible so she must’ve come on her father.😆

Her mother told her that it was her own daughters fault for pestering to want to marry someone who was already involved with another girl. She said that it is probably her curse that has caused so many problems in her marriage.

Nageen sits with Haroon to discuss things and he explains to her that he loves her and wants to marry her. He says all these coincidences are signs that they should be together.

She asks him that you were once deeply in love with someone else how can you forget your first love so easily? He replied that him being honest with Nageen is proof that he is over the other girl.

She needs time to think of his proposal.

I think she’s also wondering if she is ready to start another relationship. Whatever Sultan did, I feel that she hasn’t forgotten how she once felt for him.

However she knows he married again and as far as she’s concerned he and his new wife are blissfully happy together.

She still has no realisation how much she meant to Sultan. She has no clue that he regrets what he did and that he loves her still, just as much as he always did.

In the teaser it sounds like if the mother doesn’t allow it Haroon and Nageen are going to get a court marriage and go to Dubai??😕

When Sultan heard from his grandmother ‘congratulations you are going to be a father’ he looked truly unsettled and dazed.

Could it be that he now realises that he has made a monumental mistake in marrying Narmeen? Or could it be that he actually never slept with her and perhaps he knows she can’t be pregnant...?

( okay i know, it’s a bit far fetched )

Sorry for the long post!😳

I want him to find her before she is married and then want her to go right ahead and marry right in front of his eyes...I will get immense satisfaction if it happens!

Romantic Reveries

What can I write more. @Lizzy wrote it all.👏

Only things to add is that I am proud of Nageen for depending only on herself, and going to dar ul amaan instead of seeking Haroon's help, also I am happy that she held him responsibility of her current situation. I know she may accept the marriage after her sister's threats, but she rised few good issues to Haroon to make sure that he isn't marrying her out of pity. 😊 She has the right to move on, they guy is honest. Life isn't a bed of roses, and refusing him because of his mom's rejection is a bad idea, coz she needs this guy beside her specially if Sultan trys to enter her life again. 😉I agree with @CF . If this happens infront of Sultan it will be much better.😈

I don't care about Sultan /Narmeen. But they are entertaining.😆 I have a gr8 satisfation watching their fights.😃 I felt bad for Sultan though when he started searching with Nageen but his efforts went in vain.😒 I had to remind my self that he doesn't deserve my sympathies..but my heart is so stupid.💔
