I agree! There are so many people right now left without a source of income! I read this quote by an Indian doctor but I can't seem to find it right now but basically he said that corona was spread by rich people who travel but now in lockdown they have the privilege of staying home and having enough food but it's the poor who are suffering the most. Many don't have proper shelter or access to food.

also, the 14-day quarantine period needs to be extended to 30 day period at this point....plus, politicians are the main hurdle i believe at this point in handling the cases (at least in the US)...

I completely agree! I read that CA's governor was easing the stay at home order to open the state back up again "to save the economy"...this is just going to cause a resurge in cases! It's such a bad idea!

Precisely. Can't believe people (read politicians) would act insensitive and inhumane while in these conditions. In India, the political parties are busy blaming each other for the crisis🤦

The fact that people can bring politics and religion into everything including something serious as a global pandemic is why I'm losing faith in humanity.
