You know I used to love Bollywood movies from the time I was a child...I grew up watching Bollywood movies ..but I stopped watching them in the last few years because I got disappointed with what we were getting .. or lol..maybe my tastes just changed as I got older...😂...but I enjoy the tv dramas ...a select few that is...and I think with tv..the actors grow into their roles ..and that’s another thing that’s put me off Bollywood,..we don’t seem to have that acting talent that we used to get when I was growing up.. the khans are too old now ...so I can’t watch them romancing young girls ..although I still like Aamir khan movies,..he somehow plays age appropriate roles..Originally posted by: Lazybird_Silpa

yes the lead couple need to click in all aspects...age, looks, acting ..then we viewers really appreciate them.. unless the show warrants it...where it is a older man and younger woman...then I suppose we would understand . We are watching barrister babu at the moment,,.and the FL is a child..because she’s meant to be 8 years old...shes saved from being killed during the sati ritual by an early 20s young man,..and he has to marry her to save her life...So we understand that’s what’s required for the story...and we are enjoying the rapport of the lead couple ...their conversations and the way he protects her,. . but in shows and movies where actors in their 40s and 50s are pretending to be in the 20s or 30s and romancing young women/girls ..sometimes under 20..then lol..it doesn’t come across well through that screen,.😂Originally posted by: Surilikoyal

I suppose it’s good for SRJ to be In patiala babes ..as it’s a modern and different role from the mythological roles he’s played...sometimes these actors get type casted where they tend to get the same type of roles ..e.g. Himanshu soni from Buddha. I’ve only seen him in mythological roles...he played Ram in Luv Kush ..no prob yaar
