Besides, I read that no channel has ever garnered such high ratings in recent years... So, content matters.

Definitely, agree. We always say this, content, story and everything. Just that they don't have these fancy promotions and actors giving interviews so much, cos they have a budget.

Yaar, I thought this week these actors interviews pop ups on IF will stop, but seems hard luck. These interviews too lack content.

Yeah... DD never does these fancy promotions like other channels. In fact, I guess when they started the re-run of Ramayan was the first time some article regarding DD shows came out in the newspaper... Warna I have never seen DD shows being promoted in news channels or interviews of actors...

I never watch these interviews on IF... These interviews never interest me. So, I have absolutely zero idea about these...

So I was thinking about the confessions we discussed and realised, list I gave all don't qualify in favourites. If I have to purely go on my favs,

Ishaani and Ranveer

Aditya and Pankhuri, again top fav. Such a straight forward and non fancy and simple. Acting was average, but it was fab.

Hmmm... My maa used to watch YUDKBH during the initial episodes... Although, I didn't watch with her as my internal assessments were going on when the show began... And uske baad, since my maa stopped watching, I too forgot about it...

Baaki, I haven't heard about the first couple and you had told about the second couple earlier...

Yeah, even I don't. Plus lately toh with these pop ups, and titles questions also seem same. They should just make an excel sheet and mail to actors and post a week, just pop up one thing! Am totally pissed by seeing 5 pop ups daily, like we are facing a serious situation and seriously, Kuch Sharam Karo.

Honestly, even I watched yudkbh for first few months, then it got too slow and lost the charm so I quit. But they recreated the 90s era brilliantly, and showed scenes quite practically. Still remember, how they had mentioned in show, how people watched Ramayan and Mahabharat and streets were empty, so references were really great.

The first show honestly was again amazing till a point, then sidetracking ho gaya. But some scenes and friendship were great.

Second couple I had seen show till a point and now am catching up. It's brilliant, cos of the balance and character arcs, like each character had a journey and a role to play. Even girl's family, which is rare.

Plus best part I felt was layers were there, and leads communicated and apologized and solved their mess. Not like a huge mess is done, and next instant sorry and let's talk. Time was taken, journey and phases were developed really well!

The shows seem interesting. The balance and character arcs is rarely paid attention to and I am glad to know that they actually paid attention to that part.
