Exactly. I think during the interview itself, he was attracted to mini. But he tried hard to control himself as he already got betrayal in love. Lekin arya shayad use apni beti ki yaad dilati ho jiska usne sara bachpan miss kar diya. That's y he couldn't stop himself to attract with arya.

Slowly, gradually, mini ka neil ko help karna like, rent money issue and room sajana. Mini me use apnapan lga ho and woh usse na chahkar bhi chahne lg gaya.

I was watching the snakes and ladder scene and that rose petal scene where arya uses the last petal that she was saving for her parents to get Neil it has always been arya's hope and desire to have her family back that bought MiNeil close to each other.

Makers took time to form miya bond, ArNe bond and then MiNeYa bond for their journey together.

You mentioned ! 😆I was about to mention about this rose petal scene .Arya always wanted family and so was Mineil also .I really like this scene how Arya was crying,sad and Mini had lost hopes and the last petal Arya blows and Neil turns and even Mini also gets shocked seeing Neil.Before this Neil was in his room and power goes and due ro darkness he comes out and meet MiYa ( lights of his life ) and later Mini takes Arya and shuts the door and Neil looks at them .( Took time for this bond to form .From closing doors to opening doors of heart and getting emotionally connected was well shown by Cvs )

Yes arya reminded him of the child and because of this he formed a strong bond with her and started caring for her I guess he cares for arya more than the child.

The love and affection he had been craving for Neil found that in mini and arya.
