Her movies are hits and she is ranked number one by official sites like boi which is used by industry. That is industry's opinion. Go and ask them.

oh I thought we were talking about stardom, here. Popularity does not equate to BO. She is still very very popular, atleast where I live. Topping a list is a sign of relevance, nothing to do with BO. BO..its alia right now. Her (deepikas) popularity will obviously decline through time. She cant be at a peak all the time. new actresses and by new I mean "younger" actresses come in all the time. Its been a pattern for years. when have huge stars' especially actresses not seen a decline? why is their such a celebration about it. this I dont particularly get. I am sure one day you will be celebrating alias decline too on india forums, when her films start to flop, and another actress is topping the BO.

Yes but still her name is always pitied with deepikas. I agree she is #1 BO wise. I never denied that. but her status is tapered. Truth is..You got a lot of people bothered about how she's gotten to where she is.

Industry opionion..she is no. 1.

Audience..they could care less. They like who they like.
