Maya looked at the closed door and wished that she could tell the man that she had lied to him, well, partially, but no, right now, her survival was important.

She walked to the table, and touched the trinkets that were kept on it. There was a photo of two men that was framed and kept on it. She picked it and stared at the younger man in the photo, flashes of him hitting her like tornado.

"Aah!" She yelled as the frame slipped from her hands and crashed on the floor. She held her forhead that hurt as hell.

Rudra rushed in the room, looking at her in concern

"Maya, what is it? Are you hurt? What is happening?"

"My head hurts,"

He looked at Rishi's smiling photo that peeked from the glass and the wooden frame.

So she wasn't lieing? She did lose her memory, or was she pretending.

"Do you know any of the medicines you took?"

"No," she shook her head.

Rudra nodded and extended her hand to help her stand, but then withdrew it. But Maya clung to her hand and stood up.

"Thanks," she said.

"I know I am troubling you, but I really am grateful to you for helping me, that man, he killed a woman who said she was my mother and another man who was trying to help me,"
