Also, Devaki is really pretty, a pity she had to be so unhappy throughout most of her stint in the show! 🤔

You see, Mahabharata is a tragedy. Nobody gains anything. Everybody is leading a tragic life. There is loss even in victory. The circumstances are not as per one's expectations and how one deals with life is all that matters.

BRC's Kans is so apt here. He fits to a tee without any exaggeration of his demonic nature.

Actually even as actors I find women then more feminine than today's healthy perfect body sh** they'd literally did rule the screen, if I'm even clear in what I'm saying😆

Kans usurps the throne from King Ugrasen. Devki and Vasudev get married. Kans kills the first child of the couple. Rohini(Vasudev's first wife) visits Kans to debate with him to not kill all the children as only the eighth one would be a threat to his life.
