I find Alaya better than all 3. But I think she will struggle/wont have a lot of industry support. Sara is already basically a star, she's got a big following already. if she performs well, and really aces the acting component, she will be bigger than alia.

Alaya does have her own strengths tbh and there are certain kinds of roles she would always be better for than Sara...

But yeah it looks likely that Sara will probably be the big star among the girls of this generation... it’s true that Tara and Alaya are talented like her but prettier/hotter... but on the bright side at least we know annoying Ananya won’t be the star lmao 😂😂

Alia will be the first actress to age the mainstream heroine. She is going to be with us until her teeth fall off and she does character role like Amitabh. She will be number 1 until she is 70

Hopefully someone who can act like mix of Shabana Azmi+Meena Kumari+Sridevi, dance like mix of Gopi Krishna+Agnes Oaks+MJ, can do action and stunt like Monique Ganderton, look like mix of Aish+Sonali Bendre and has body like Urvashi Rautela. And isn't a PR driven divas who tries to put an image of women empowerment just for personal gain like the likes of Deepika, Kangu and so on.

Dethrone Deepika? Even Alia is not able to do that yet.

Deepika had a golden year in 2013..

Race 2, Yeh Jawaani hai deewani, Chennai express, Ram leela. All in one single calendar year. All box office hits. Won all major awards for best actress ( not they have much credibility, but still).

I know Deepika is on a decline and Alia is hitting her peak. But if you compare both of their peaks you would know that Deepika was way ahead. She was undisputed no. 1 in her time whereas Alia still have contest and her no.1 position is still ambiguous.

Moreover there were various producers lining up to work with Deepika post Cocktail, whereas Alia's standing in industry is mainly due to Dharma. ( 9 out of 12 of her films are produced by Dharma).

So I would say it is wrong to put both in same category. As of to replace Deepika, it would be hard to put finger on someone from current lot even though in my eyes she herself is not a very great actor. ( Above average to good)

As for replacing Alia, it would depend on KJo. And I think he is already planning to do so with Janhavi.

But in the end, there is little we common people know.

Alia's so called "golden year" was supposed to be 2020. Her film lineup Brahamastra, Gangubai, Sadak 2, RRR was all planned to put her at the official number 1 (if she isnt already). She most definitely has the biggest films to her name out of any actress, all of which have huge chances of being BO successes. If they are, she will be considered the most successful mainstream actress ever in recent times.

My argument is that after all the films she has had, raazi, dear zindagi, etc...all hits, all films where she is the lead. all the awards she has won. why is her stardom still ambiguous. Her PR is also on overdrive now days. Deepika had a string of flops, she only needed one year to be the number 1 actress and stil today we are talking about her being a comparison to an actress who debuted nearly 6-7 years after her.

There is a lot more to what makes a star. Also I think Alia's backing definitely plays a hand in the aura of her stardom being tapered.

A simple marketing problem, if you ask me. Deepika was original. Yes, she was boring, tried to sound intellectual ( sometimes would fail miserably yet tried), played victim card, did PR stunts, yet she was original.

Alia is a Kareena Kapoor wannabe. She wants to achieve that cute yet sexy vibe rather than playing on her own strengths. She want to be the next bebo and she was marketed as one.

But the thing is no one can be like bebo when it comes to personality. Kareena was catty, unapologetic, bratty, had her foot in her mouth but owned it. Always told everyone that she is not high on IQ level. Never tried to come off as a "relatable" person. She told everyone that she is a star and should be seen as one.

Alia is constantly compared to Kareena and that's where she fails. Kareena speaks non sense sometimes yet I would rather watch her interview than Alia's.
