I just rewatched a few episodes and what I don't understand is that chobey wants to ruin the sales girl and her family just because she got into a cat fight with Maya and according to chobey Ranbir actually molested and he is getting them married?

I mean he knows that Maya and Ranbir like each other so they got close physically but Ranbir did not agree for marriage so maya pressed a fake charge
