The one who always ties her hair in a braid, who always acts sweet with Sam is the step mother. She's also the first wife of Munshiji.

The one who ties her hair up in a bun and always acts rudely with Sam is the real mother. She's the second wife of Munshiji.

The first wife is from a relatively rich family than the second wife. The house they're living in is also provided by the first wife's father.

I guess since the first wife couldn't give birth a child, (which prompted Munshiji to marry for second time) she feels insecure and wants to have everything according to her wish in the house. She wants to be seen as the best and most kind hearted person in the household while controlling the household as well as everyone's lives.

And the reason why Real Mom acts rudely with Sam causing both Sam and Saurabh to hate her is that the step Mom has threatened real Mom that if she (real Mom) doesn't act according to Step Mom's orders then she'll make Munshiji loose his job as well throw out Sampoorna, Saurabh and the real Mom out of the house.

@bold- true but he needs to calm himself down a bit as he is dealing with a child. Otherwise she will just rebel or drift away.

And he still doesn't know she can't read and write😆 he has assumed she knows most of the things he knows🤣

No she cannot. Actually she bullied some village boys to write that letter for her😆
