Do watch ....the tenali rama clip too which i posted here....though her journey was short but even that was a good cameo role. Whenever she has done something.......she has mostly ruled it with her acting skills. I wish she had got her due.

See that is your opinion i respect it.When i watched geet i was not teenager i was in late 20s and my whole family like dd and geet especially my mom and many of my friends were fan of dd that too who were in 30s so don't generalise things and Now i am in 30s but still i find dd decent actress not so good but average one .I never liked jenny in any show before maya but she won me as maya but i disagree that she was good as zoya infact she was Edited as zoya that is my opinion.i never felt connected to zoya or jenny in bepannah .Same way dd was bad in silsila after her character messed after the affair so for me both have limitations .Acting is subjective i feel jenny is made for grey characters and dd is made for bubbly comic roles although i want both them to improve.As far vivian was concerned he was good as arrogant rk only he was bad as harman and weak in emotional scenes he just excel one smirk expressions .He messes up emotional scenes big time.From actors who i think good actors are Ronit roy,Rajiv khandelwal and iqbal khan.Other males are just below average for me.Jenny,DD are actresses i love to watch on my screen.And whatever ppl say i don't care .if ppl say they are Edited let it be.The hv connection with masses that means they have something which compel ppl to watch them again nd again.And i don't understand why people here r shamed for their choices.if someone says she want to see her favorite in bollywood ppl can discuss with politeness and say you hv different opinion.Here ppl say like u like that celb how can u like her she can't act .Dude acting is subjective i agree you may find one actress cringy fine your choice but same actress can be loved by ppl who love her work as i said acting is subjective some may find someone good other may find that bad no big deal.Edited.So i m out of this post.I have an opinion about certain thing so do you people .I don't want to repeat things again and again .I want my both favourites to experiment futher and improve as i believe they far from perfect.But still i love to watch them on screen if i feel connected to them and their character and if not i have other options too .life doesn't end there.Aacha laga to dekhge nahi laga to nahi dekhege as simple as that.Originally posted by: 9SakthLaunda4
I've seen you in Pardes mein mere dil AT. I used to go by the name HummingBird12 and I was a fan of hers . I have been following her since Dil mil gaye serial. I have been loyal to her and watched all her shows except for Silsila as it was so hard to watch the show.
I liked Drashti more than Jennifer since DMG and I hoped for DD to be the protagonist. I was never a Jenny fan but I felt there is something special about her.
I loved DD as Geet but now when I try to watch the serial, I get bored. DD caters to kids and teenagers and now that I am no longer a teenager, I find her acting and shows OTT . Even in Madhubala Vivian was the show stealer. I went through the phase of utter jealousy for Vivian as he acted so well. I still like Drashti for her dance but not for her acting. I like her more in Jhalak dikh laja than in any of her shows. She is OTT in her real life too. 😆 Sanaya and Drashti Dhami are definitely dolls who are experts at OTT expressions.
There's a reason Jenny gets work and that too good work. It's because she acts damn well. I disagree that she can't play innocent characters. Her characters Riddhima and Zoya are so beautiful .
What she pulled on television with Maya is commendable. Her character is artistically pure evil. We usually hate evil characters but well she looked so perfect so evil that I was curious about what she is going to do next and she never was OTT. I still am not a fan and I still wouldn't defend Jenny as I defended DD but i would watch her shows and appreciate how she divine she looks. She ain't a good dancer like DD but she definitely is a great actress. If anyone could play both Elena and Katherine Pierce in India , it would be Jennifer winget.
I am yet to watch Beyhadh 2 and her new web series and I am sure she gave great performance in those too.

I have good memories of the show. I would love to keep it that way. Then we moved to Star Plus after that😵. Even worse.
We had successfully stopped following any show(except a few mythological shows) after Hitler Didi till Zee started Zindagi channel and got us hooked on Pakistani show.
Nia is sooo overrated man. I get it that some people might find her hot but I still don't get her appeal.
I so wish Pooja to come back. Now that was one hot woman ( in my eyes) and she was so talented. The scene where Arjun brings his second wife home to meet Draupadi, Pooja's expressions are still etched in my mind. That was one powerful scene. And there are so many others. When she gets to know that Pandavas have bet her in their game. Or the scene where she asks revenge for her disrespect and confront the Pandavas
They are not easy scenes but not once I find her overdoing them. Despite all heavy costumes, there was an air of ease in her work.
I might start watching Ishq mein Mar Jawaan after I complete Adaalat's first season. KD Pathak is my first love after all. And BTW I noticed yesterday Alisha also was part of the show. She played the accused in one of the episodes and looked so beautiful❤️.

So you did not follow the show at all after Indira's supposed death?
I too have good memories with that show but you know one thing idk it's just me or others felt the same too but Rishi/Zara (Indira's humshakal) romantic scenes were far better executed than Indira/Rishi were given. Rati and Sumit's on-screen chemistry was truly utilized and came out as a pair postleap only. So were the costumes. Actually most of the people I've come across on Twitter till now (except the dedicated fans) haven't really followed or had any idea what happened in HD post-leap. But the show surprisingly did continue to have good TRPs even after the leap.
Infact everyone thought they'd prove Zara as Indira later on even tho they already showed DNA reports not matching with Zara's with Indu's (Their daughter). I guess makers had the same plan. So did the on-screen characters believe she's Indira only for some reason. They used to recreate Indira/Rishi scenes on Zara-Rishi by showing flashbacks of Rishi/Indira scenes in the same frame. And tbh during Zara-Rishi lovetrack only cvs actually started focussing on the romance part on HD otherwise in HD pre-leap romance has been secondary but post-leap it was primary. They used to dedicate whole episode on Zara-Rishi romantic scenes. But alas they didn't prove her as Indira. I still dunno why. Sadly they made Rishi seem like those men & typical husbands who don't and can't accept their beloved when they're not in proper mental condition and forget all the love they had for you & becomes a burden or just responsibility for you. I thought cvs wouldn't show Rishi in the same light but he turned out to be the same. 🤢
Btw Pooja was amazing in Dusyasan vadh sequence too. I so wish to see Pooja and Aham together in a show since MB days. Exactly. Pooja not once did go overboard. And that wad het first show. What a performance!

I don't think the real audience of the Indian heartland, which BARC is measuring, is the same audience that's reacting to the previous season. The online audience never translates into ratings, therefore their negativity also does not translate into low or high ratings! For instance, Ishqbaaaz is extremely popular and loved online but rating wise it's not No. 1.
The show (IPKKND) was not watched enough by the audiences that networks measure, therefore the decision was taken to shut it. Online popularity or negativity does not impact the ratings much actually. No matter how popular the show is online it doesn't become a highly rated show and no matter how much negative chatter is there online, it doesn't result in low ratings. IPKKND simply didn't do well in BARC ratings.
@Bold and @underlines sums it up all online popularity and trps means jackshit and this is coming from a woman who has some of biggest shows under her name on trps and online as well.
I'd rather believe a producer who knows what goes into making a show than online fans who thinks their show is a huge success coz of the online hype (Jaisi hai yaariyan/DMG) etc😆

It was a huge popular show of our childhood. I didn't even know Jennifer was part of it until you mentioned today. I was a regular viewer of that show for a long-time. She might have appeared as some 4-5th tier level below supporting character at the near end of that series. I don't remember her being part of it when the show was in it's peak.
