Hi friends back with new update .

Part 10

R- thankyou somuch ishita for making me understand. I hadn't seen my mother so happy and cheerful from many days .

Ishita gave a sweet smile and spoke " l m glad that l m the reason for someones happiness . "

Saying so she gave a quick peck on his cheek and almost ran to her house without noticing Raman's reaction . She thought may be he will not like it but it was vice versa ,he touched the spot where she had kissed and went back to the car with a broad smile .

Ishita entered her house humming some song when she heard her mother " ishu kanna come here ."

Ishita walked in the living room and saw her parents were sitting together,it seems that they were waiting for her . She reached them and said " why you two are sitting like this ,kuch hua hai kya ".

Amma- humm ,we want to talk to you .

I- then talk ,why you people are scaring me ,giving this mysterious look.

A- Dr Bhalla's mother had called me sometimes back .

I- and .

A- and she talked to me about your marriage with his son .

I- what did you said .

A- I said ,I will ask you about that and ..

I- and they are coming on saturday na ,mujhe pata hai..

Ishita spoke in a go ,not realising that she had blurted out ,what she was suppose to hide from her parents . She put her tongue in between her teeth after speaking in a go and looked at her parents for their reaction. Amma made a angry face and asked " that means ,you know aboug this ."

I- actually yes .

Amma- you mean that all these time ,when you were talking about your senior ,you were actually having affair with him .

I- no amma nothing like that. I liked him but we didn't had affair ever . its just ,today itself he got ready for marraige on his mother's instance and told me that his parents will be coming on saturday to talk about marriage. I had to inform you people about that and I was not comfortable in talking to you people about marriage thing ,so I requested his mother to talk to you and she happily did .

Appa- you mean to say that you like him but he is just marrying because of his mother .

I- actually he was not ready for marraige but his mother liked me and made him ready .

Appa - do you think, this marraige will be successful when the he is marrying for his mother not for him.

I- it will appa ,I know Raman ,he is a good man ,a sincere doctor and a nice son . I m sure he will be a good husband too .

Amma- kanna you are our only child , we will always think about your happiness, if you are happy and so sure then we are also ready .

Ishita hugged her parents and said " I love you appa and amma . I know you people are worried about me but I will be happy with him ."

" we wish you a happy life kanna " her parents spoke in unison .Next two days passed in jiffy and now it was saturday, Ishita took leave on that day as Amma said she needs her help for preparation of North indian food . Ishita prepared Paneer butter masala , matar pulaao ,poori and chole while Amma prepared idli and vada as per Raman's like. Though Raman has already told that he will not be coming but finally agreed as ishita kept on pestering him .

Amma gave a mehroon and green color kanjiwaram saree and some jewellery to ishita to wear them and get ready . She made faces and said " amma whats the need to wear saree, mummyji had seen me is suit and jeans also ,she liked me that way ."

Amma- so what ,I agree you are beautiful, also you both doctor's and are well educated but we can't leave our culture na . Now also in india ,a girl wears saree when someone comes to see her for marraige, so don't argue and wear it .

I- ok ,as you say .

Soon she got ready wearing the saree and jewelleries, she tied her long hair in a nice braid and decorated it with flower strings (gajra). She was looking too beautiful, amma put a black teeka behind her ear to save her from evil eyes . Ishita just smiled and told her mother ,not to be so melodramatic as she looks same as daily. They were still talking when they heard car horn , amma told ishita to prepare coffee while she and her amma are going to welcome Bhalla's. Till she went to the main door ,Mr iyer has already opened it and was welcoming Bhalla's,amma too joing him . They exchanged the greetings and got settled . Toshiji immediately stated the reason of their visit and they started talking about the marraige. Soon ishita showed up with coffee , toshiji praised her on wearing indian attire and looking beautiful while Raman was just mesmerized as she was looking too different today .Ishra were silent while their parents did all the talking ,both the parents were ready for the marraige as theur kids were ready, so they mostly talked about the preparations.Toshiji wanted the marraige to happen soon as she already waited long for daughter in law , so decided early marriage. They decided ishra engagement in next week while marraige on next most auspicious day .

From next day , elder's started preparing for the engagement and inviting friends and relatives ,Ishra were also told to invite their friends and colleagues. They invited some of their seniors and close friends , soon the news about their marraige got spread in the hospital . Different people talk differently about it ,some were happily congratulating while some were still thinking how does this happened.

One fine day ishita was walking with her friends talking randomly when a peon walked to her and spoke " Dr ishita ,Dr Naina has called you ."

Ishita thought for a while then asked " are you sure ,she called me as our depts didn't match?."

Peon- haan doctor ,she has called you only .

I- okay .

Saying so she walked towards Dr Naina's cabin . She knocked the door and was called inside .Ishita entered the cabin and spoke"good evening Doctor , you had called me".

Dr Naina( making a dirty face )- so you are ishita iyer ,a mere intern ,a simple middle class girl .

I(confused)- I didn't get you ,why are you saying so? .

Dr naina- I just wanted to see ,what is special in you that Raman chosed you over me .

I- (still confused)- sorry ?

Dr naina to her and spoke ,coming very close to ishita" I just called to warn you. Raman is mine ,stay away from him ".

I- we are getting married ,he is my fiance and we both had willingly agreed for this marriage . So I m not backing off .

Saying so ishita left was leaving the place when Naina said " don't you remember ,you are just an intern and I m daughter of Director of this hospital . Your career is in my hands ".

Ishita turned and said " I do remember that but the problem is I will not trade my love with my career ."

N- love ? Are you kidding me ,I m chasing Raman for last two years and was always said that he don't believe in love . Now suddenly you appeared saying that you people are getting married out of love .

I- yeah we are getting married out of love , moreover you can't force someone to be with you . First of all I m not going to leave Raman for anything and secondly if I leave him by any chance, I m very much sure that he will not marry you ever .

N- don't you think, you are being too confident about you.

I- I don't want to discuss my life with you ,so please excuse me . I will take your leave .

Saying so she left the cabin ,leaving a fuming Naina behind .
