Muskaan/Dr.Sapna on weight losing spree

Muskaan Mehani aka Kritika of Dahhej on 9X is busy sweating off her extra kilos. And not because she is overweight but because she is looking for a role in a Bollywood film.

Muskaan who has played a small role in Heyy Babyy is now looking out for some lead roles.

"I'm meeting people for films. Now I want to do either lead or parallel lead roles," says Muskaan.

In order that she bags significant roles Muskaan has been on a weight losing spree. "As I'm doing a daily soap I don't get time to go to the gym. I bring all my stuff like skipping rope and weights on the sets. Whenever I get time I just start exercising," she chirps.

So how much weight did you lose? "Well now I'm 52kgs. I think I have become underweight as my height is 5'6 but the demand today is for skinny people," she adds.

Is all this for a Bollywood role? "You could say that. Today the trend is to go from thin to skinny. I was never overweight but I thought I needed to reduce more. I have no regrets of being underweight," says Muskaan.

So are you planning to quit TV? "No I'm not quitting TV as my show Dahhej is doing well and I'm very happy with the stint. I may take a break for a while. I can't leave my commitment thus I'll return," she avers.

Hoping that Muskaan soon fulfills all her dreams.

I think that's a little silly .. no-one should need to "adjust" themselves for a role .. if she's right for a particular movie .. then she'll get a call .. plus .. she's not giving the right message out to those who might want to make it big; those who aren't already will start to starve themselves thinking it will get them a role in Bollywood ..

i agree! more than to be skinny someone should hvae the acting skills i agree u shouldn't be a hippo but u din't have to be a pencil eithier😕

yeah exactly .. her figure isn't what she should be worrying about. Instead, she should concentrate on improving her acting skills, plus, she bagged a role in heyy babyy, so it's a start. Everyone has aspirations but you can't expect to be a leading lady straight away .. you have to start small, think big .. 😳
