The short, intense, jam-packed scenes are the greatest blessing and curse of a Kuku shipper 😆 We get to see incredible creativity and subtlety in the way they manage to fit so much into such tiny miny scenes (we're all here shipping for a reason!) but we also have to accept that they are never going to get the in-depth, character-driven treatment they deserve. I've simply switched off my expectations and am enjoying the craft of the brilliant people who manage to say so much with so little. 👏

Honestly I feel really disconnected from KuKu as a couple ever since Kunal started taking advice from the FL regarding important life decisions and totally ignoring Kuhu. They are not given any meaningful conversations and both come across as really immature because of how they take each other and their relationship for granted. But when Kunal discussed his marital problems with the FL, that was the final straw for me. Ever since that scene, I don't expect anything from this couple. And may be because of this reason, I enjoyed the 103 second scene that we got, that too without any interruption or cutting into the other couple’s scene. Since I have no expectations from the writers, I have started to enjoy KuKu scenes more, even if they come out of nowhere, look rushed or doesn't have any buildup. 😆

And personally, I don't feel that any other female character of the show would be suited for this song sequence. So I have no idea why anyone would dislike the song.

no wonder the trp audience doesnt feel connected to kuku, utna drama, build-up nahi milta na, 20min ke episode mein 4min mein unka story start ho kar khatam bhi ho jaata hai🥺

I would also love to discuss the rest of the episode -- I actually really liked it, as I mentioned on the previous thread. I really think this would have been so awesome as the hour-long episode it was supposed to be.

I'm also on tenterhooks to see how Kunal responds to Kuhu and Mishti's fight once they are on their own. Dare I hope that we get the fight we wanted too? 😲

Thanks Sam!! The initial wave has a different level of excitement but koi nahi. Hopefully, I'll be there for the next one!

I liked the episode as well. Just a little salty about the jump-cut after Kuhu tells Mishti that she got the ribbon cut from Parul. She must have sunao-ed Kunal also after that because of her expression after the advertisement in between.

I am hoping for a fight scene too. Kuhu seemed really annoyed at being sent away to "pack bags". I have a feeling that these brothers will leave both the sisters at the resort because Kuhu wasn't shown in the precap.

Can I ask you for a KuKu centred analysis of today's episode because it felt like a goldmine of expressions on both their parts?

@Nikki: I think I made a mistake of reading the reviews on twitter, insta before watching the scene, so this time I had more expectations

anyways atleast the way they shot it was really superb, I mean the small-small details, so aesthetic & hot, the lights, the shadows, the costumes etc. looked so good

kunal discussing about his marital problems with FL looked so odd, I mean I understand that makers are rushing mishnal bond because they have to be on same side for next track of the show but this was really not required and was very ott

and then there is this scene where kunal & kuhu argue about revealing parul as kunal's mom & kunal says 'yadi mishti itni galat hai toh bhai uspar inta bharosa kyun karte hain?'

and also when kunal confesses that he gave mishti read pear on meenu's insistence & not out of his own will

so both these scenes gave me hopes that kunal is trying to bond with mishti for abir & that he is #dufferchokro and can ask for advice from anyone from jugnu to mishti (I think it was aqua who pointed this out this 2nd part in a post )
