McDonald’s gave free food and drinks to health and emergency workers. Lot of cafes gave out free food for homeless here .. Even a supermarket chain gave free food for homeless. Nice gestures shown by lot of people .. An Airbnb offered their apartment , which is just 30 seconds from a hospital , for free to the NHS workers to stretch and relax themselves ..

Among all these nice gestures , sadly I noticed a gesture which is distancing people. While going out , everyone greets with a warm smile or good morning but now everyone has their head down and are avoiding to greet other people .. 😔

But i hope people atleast wave their hands if not a smile...i actually wave my hand from a distance,its become a habit now

Yesterday while talking my mom suddenly asked why clapping hands and clanging when we can stand in balcony and appreciate them

At first i dint reply but then,my mom herself said "is it for our victory" and i nodded

Though Modiji dint think much into clapping hands,it can have a deep meaning

The clanging,the chank being blown is a way of telling a war to take place..we are with war against the virus

Together we stand against it

Clapping hands for the victory ahead

Yes we will win,i hope we win against it in the end

In USA many of the ppl in CDC and other organizations who have prepared for drastic crisis like we are experiencing now were let go by Trump in his administration....most of the current ppl were not trained for it and don’t have much experience...The CIA warned Trump that it will get to a situation that USA is experiencing now months before...Trump did not listen to the warnings as he cared more about his political career and as if he listens to anyone....the government waited too long to take this serious and by that time the spread has become too much to control...it’s really surprising a country like USA does not have effective testing methods and lacked sufficient testing kits compared to some other countries...Covid-19 had to happen when Trump was President....really hope it doesn’t become Italy.

UK also same story...a leader who waited forever to take measures as they believed in herd immunity.

Canada is no better....our leader also reacted only after his wife was tested positive and he was also in self-isolation until then he hardly spoke about the virus...then came the fast measures and financial support...I find my province Premier has done better job than our Prime minister in terms of reacting fast and giving press conferences to assure the public.

It is a Covid-19 Hollywood film....we are all part of it as actors.

Trump is a bloody clown...lol tbh i feel Trudeau is a better fit then trump . Before the whole corona virus I did read he was bringing alot of refugees from syria and was doing alot for the minoroty people.

Yes like actual bank tellers and all have limited hours now..but csr is 24 hours 7 days a week and even reps verifiying deposits made in atm cash and cheques often happen during night shifts. Especially now in a time of crisis the call volumes have literally quadrupled! Everyone freaking out asking for fianical aid to stop payments bla bla its a nightmare. Tbh im def not getting paid enough for this . Another fun tip for all of you on here if ur going to be rude to ur csr rep they are just going to put u on hold even longer. 🤣.
