I actually choose to disagree here true first season had its own set of characters which clicked with the audience but the second season has its own story and new characters like Neil and arya who are the other two main characters, those who have followed the first season have accepted MiNeYa and now it is their journey.

Characters in the first installment are getting their closure, there is more to explore from story point of view if Delhi shift happens mini who wants to become a photographer can pursue her dreams in Delhi, plus Neil has his own story they have already started introducing new characters like the maid in Oberoi house, rani and milkman plus Neil's house in Delhi has been given a lot of importance right from being his life which was empty after his parents left, to mini seeing it as a way to know Neil, makers took a risk in first season and succeeded with new characters now we want to know more about Neil and his journey with mini, haveli described the life of HS and Oberoi house will describe the life of Neil.

Also makers have shown symbols of Delhi track like MiNeil entering the house like hubby wife, mini's reflection on Neil's photo with guest, maid frowning Neil going to mini at the mention of Mrs Neil Oberoi, once MiNeil win the case against the guest they need to shift to Delhi the show needs freshness and only this shift can bring this. It will be MiNeYa versus society.
