I'm not saying India has to do something on par with Canada and Singapore - just look at the initiative they are showing and where we are. Why should we not blame the government. Why aren’t they giving permission to companies who are willing to produce tests to produce. They have only approved one Ahmedabad manufacturer to produce. Why are they not declaring lockdown coz of pressure from business lobby. What is this Jhansa of a one day janta curfew and taali thoko. We have see what’s happened around the world. The future is bleak. Community transmission is happening. And the government is just going ahead with optics. Declare an effing lockdown.

Dude, if kerela manages to contain the spread, then it's a win.if India manages to do so, it's a win.if the whole world manages to so, again it's a win! At this point , anything which helps to curb the spread is a win.Not a time for politicising or blaming anyone (Chinese virus or not, it's a virus killing the whole world and impacting most of China , so we could give them a break).

I wish people would just unite and follow the guidelines , be safe.

Just to address this point. Why should Rahul Gandhi not throw dogshit? He has been screaming hoarse about this situation to no avail. Secondly the supreme leader and his minions have been extremely unkind at both a personal level (to his mother and him) and Political level( when both the social and economic indicators of our nation were far better). For those who don't understand (or maybe just don't want to understand) , the one day junta curfew is like a mock drill. It will help in planning a further lockdown as situation arises. In a country like ours (where there are n number of daily wagers and manual labors) you can't just declare a lockdown, it will lead to further chaos. You declare an effing lockdown and see how many people rush to ATMs, grocery stores, petrol pumps, banks, clinics. There will be panic buying, traffic jams or even stampede and deaths. People need to understand that they need to stay inside. Lesser people on streets/mingling around means lesser people to manage. And these so called 'optics' might actually create actual awareness which is the need of the hour.

He has time to dislodge the Madhya Pradesh government but not give an economic stimulus. To file a case in Supreme Court to stay Allahabad and Kerala high courts order to delay tax and other dues to April( which the Supreme Court has done btw). After all this is over, if we guys survive, his lack of economic prowess will affect all of us. Abhi tak shielded the na. When it’ll hurt tab pata chalega.
