They never added such important layers in their storyline to begin with. This proposed narration of yours would have made their story a sensible one. But they distorted it to the T and now there is no way they can make it better. How simple it would have been to show Radha as Krishna's manifestation rather than Mahalakshmi's. They messed it up big time by showing Narayan-Mahalakshmi & Krishna-Radha in alternate universes.
You remember when we were in school and we would get a 15 marked broad question we haven't studied in details, we would just try to add some relevant points in different colored ink, underline the keywords, and stretch the other parts to 3 pages with purely irrelevant but close to the question topics ?-------that's what they did with the dashavatar and Mahalakshmi stories.
