I would want Sidharth to come clean on his dil ka haal sooner than later, ideally on television. He has always maintained high standards about being egalitarian on gender and right now his own relationship in the national eye is quite skewed. Right now, a whole lot of the shipper fandom is searching for that Kabir Singh to claim his love publicly truth be told. An MV is great, but it’s not reality TV. This is not just about restoration of his girl’s honour but living upto the expectations he himself built up on Big Boss or he could have had pulled the brakes completely and pursued her outside. But no, he majorly added fuel to the Sidnaaz fire, though Sana was the mouthpiece and yet he didn’t withdraw because he loved it all. And so, he better not “friend” her any more or shirk from his responsibilities to her. I would like to see him man up.
This couple is not Deepveer or Virushka who’s journey in love was not before the national eye. SidNaaz is the first couple who has taken the nation by storm for their unique romance. Naturally, they will have to tread a different path on this. He needs to do poetic and natural justice to his life story with a confession of sorts wherever that be. Once he does that the ugly, holo, obsessive solos who actually dare to black out Sana’s picture from their MV poster and then trend that too will have some idea of what they are doing. Or else, the national narrative shall stay what it is. One-sided.
And I say this with a lot of love for both of them coz I and many others absolutely love them genuinely and we are well aware how they are in real life, but the larger public are still unaware. And that shows both of them in poor light. Not that they care, but they should.
