Yes the kid suffers when their parents get divorced... But I don't think here it will be the case... Though I don't want to comment anything Now... Will wait for tonight and comment on it... I felt it fishy by the way his wife is... I may be wrong...

Yes Neil is craving for her look but she did not even noticed him no wonder he is so attached with arya.

The child's behavior is odd she was just not excited to see her father after so many days, I believe their broken marriage has a role to play there.
