What is this Maya

Ok the whole funda of this episode reminded me of Bourne Identity by Fredreick Forsyeth and Code to Zero by Ken Follet. Both cases protoganist wakes up without knowing who they are or why they are there. The episode was well directed and it brought the much needed thriller element to the show. Now Maya has become a Maya in true sense. Who is she. What is Manvi past. What did we get to know abt her till now apart from her hatred for MJ. What she has done in the past. Who is Vikram. And she married him, thats interesting. Manvi had another history,another marriage. Or is that also a story vikram's mind has created or was she abused post marriage and she left him. Reminds me of Leap of faith, by Danielle Steel. In a nutshell what I can say now more than MB this new script is a mish mash of some of the successful English fiction. Need to see where it goes from here.

I find this a misfit in the entire story that we were connected to till date.. makers watched a lot of Netflix and started rewriting the story of the show..

Already there is a huge past baggage of Maya which Rudra dint know and now this new one I found unnecessary.. also they took everything in detail with Vikram when u dint even show us Rudra how he felt knowing the truth of rishi and the whole revelation was finished in 5 mins flat..

If they are sidelining Rudra then bye bye from my side.. I m here to see MayRa

yes namu i felt it to be completely disconnected and not part of original script to be frank. Rishi death revealtion was a big thing and actually Mayra confrontation should hav happened or atleast Rudra breakdown. Nothing of that sort and we are being fed something different.

Completely agree Shruthi! While the thriller quotient was right up there I felt a complete disconnect from the story! And the one thing I had been waiting to see was just glossed over by the CVs. I have finally stopped expecting anything now. Let them take the story where they want. The mythological connect of the story is completely lost. I have a feeling this new twist is a result of the extension given to the show & channel interference. It makes no sense. How much more baggage are they going to pile up on Manvi’s past!

It's seem she married him for new identity the Maya Jaisingh then may dumb him so this is also a part of plan to take revenge mj

Also he seem so much psycho person his love may something like obsession she didn't comfortable in his touch also in few episodes back Maya sensed some perfume smell so he may the one she very well know

I don't feel they didn't plan this before coz we never know what Manvi was last 10 years and how she became Maya Jaisingh so yes CVS may take some tips in Netflix an English movies to deliver the much needed thriller elements other ways

But yes so much past history of Maya which didn't shown probably they at least should given Rudra breakdown Rishi truth is bigg thing that Maya never wanted Rudra to know but they didn't give enough time for the revealed

I am kind of feeling they are butchering Maya character she had an EMA with MJ , killed Rishi faking love and loves Rudra with a baggage of so much and a icing on the cake is she was married to Vikram?? So it's insane to expect a beautiful love story of Mayra among this chaos now.

My head is aching after watching this episode there was no need to bring an additional character just for extension.

Its difficult to connect or sympathize to Maanvi or Maya now.

Sometimes in order to darken something u dont need to mess the same foundation that u ever laid to make this story..

Maya is having way too much baggage which isnt required at all. Like how many men will she have in her life 🤪

The entire thing has become mysterious. Vikram might be making some stories or he might have saved her when MJ and his men pushed her in the mud. Maybe he might be connected to her. Lets see.

I’m here for the story as much as I want MayRa. In fact, I think this entire track is giving Rudra more angst too which is awesome because Shivin does it like no other.


Maya has layers. I mean all this while I wanted to know how did Manvi actually become the powerful Maya and duh 10 years is such a long time, so obviously so many aspects can be shown.

I understand that everyone probably wants MayRa confrontation but this is so coool; Rudra’s character is getting a newer shade and he’s more than a prop after ages so I’m totally in for this track.

Maybe they want to make Maya’s baby to be her husbands so that she can be with Rudra?
