I think mini will get to know about the letter before revelation and may have assumed it to have something romantic which may explain the pagalpan thing by Neil, I am guessing mini will not misunderstand Neil in a major way as she gets to know it from him only yes she will hurt and may take some time with all of it but ultimately will support Neil. The elderly should not be told about it at all this is something between MiNeil and I believe they will deal with it in their own way without any interferenc
