I was waiting for your posts. What can I say. I saw the screenshots and prerna and bajaj look like a real power couple. No divine love nor soulmate love got nothing on that. We bongs know a thing or two about strong women don't we? I think it's one of the reasons why taking this version of Prerna is specially hard for me.

I wish KZK had the level of quality to show Prerna as a Kalboisakhi Goddess but alas!

It is the time for Kalboisakhis in Kolkata right now. Raging nor'westers that begin with the lowest crackle of thunder and sweep up the streets demolishing everything on its way.

Just like the rain comes in without notice, orchestrates itself in a rhythm,that was Prerna Rishabh Bajaj today.

Just the lightening lits the skies in brilliant streaks of silver, that was Prerna Rishabh Bajaj today.

Just like the vengeful thunder declares its presence,taking away the quiet of the night and leading the world into chaos, that was Prerna Rishabh Bajaj today.

Prerna Rishabh Bajaj was Kalboisakhi personified.

Prerna Rishabh Bajaj is the Kalboisakhi incarnate.

And as the world lays waiting for the torrential rain to crash over their eyelids with rippling authority,the Basus waited in darkness as she took in her prey and got flashes of memory of suffering they bestowed on her since time immemorial.

Like in the hunter in the night finally seeing their prey for what they are : Not shaking fearful beings but up for the taking.

The way she stood in the shadows as she reminded herself of the injustice meted out to her, reminded herself of the lessons learned as revenge was imprinted at the clutches of her eyelids.

That is the steely Prerna Rishabh Bajaj : a mother who would go to the ends of the earth for her child.

Today,Prerna was finally the Prerna I wanted to see. The Prerna who was known as one of the greatest mother figures of ITV. The steely eyes with a burning resolve to cut the hands of those who hurt her children.

In fact, her apparent coldness to a step child too was amended as well today. She loves that child with her heart and takes care of her as a mother would. Because that's what she is determined to be for her. A mother.

If the fates took away her firstborn, the universe gave Prerna a second chance at motherhood.

Anurag Basu might have taken away her child but he wasn't able to take away the warmth of motherhood from her because

The universe works in mysterious ways.

The fates took away her child,separated her from her family but the universe gave her a family to call her own.

The way Anurag was reminded of the Prerna and Rishabh's marriage and the way he realized this grown up girl was Kookie : He saw the family as a whole.

Rishabh Bajaj and Kookie Bajaj are her family.

These two stand on guard to protect her and would go through anything just to keep Prerna safe. The blood of the Bajajs are lined with such loyalty for one Prerna Sharma that her existence itself is intuned with theirs.

Rishabh Bajaj the man standing in the light with Prerna. Quiet support but all powerful. Never trying to take over her light. Nothing will ever hurt Prerna till he's still standing behind her like her rock.

Kookie Bajaj a daughter would rage through fire to save her mother. A daughter who takes care of her like a mother.

Today,I got a glimpse of the iconic Prerna Rishabh Bajaj. This is how they should have started the track. This is it.

Nomatter what happens later on with her characterization, today was all about Prerna Rishabh Bajaj. As Rishabh says 'Yeh meri Prerna hai' this truly is the determined mother coming back to punish every single person who did her wrong.

I loved how Prerna made her entrance - very Black Swan-esque! She had been broken, wronged, and no one would be spared! She was here to take revenge!

The other thing that I liked was when Prerna came near Anurag just before the lights came on, his reaction was that of relief - he was happy that she was finally here! Maybe in destroying him, Prerna would actually end up saving Anurag and I am absolutely looking forward to that journey! 😳

Them being dressed in black also said alot.

Actually colours speak for a lot and them being dressed in all black at a party where nearly everyone is wearing white/red was nice.
