I hated kuhu's pink top & those colourful pants in yesterday's episode, one of her worst looks in my list👎🏼

but the emerald jumpsuit look in the inaugaration is good, she is looking hot & chic

but kunal's look🤢 lag raha hai kitni mehnat se red pear manage kiya hai, he is looking so stressed & tired, the clothes are so ill-fitted & boring too

A flip like that in less than 20 minutes of content. Not believable OR digestible. In their craziness to be the fixer uppers, Abir and Mishti LITERALLY do not know when to stop meddling. And Kuhu could’ve 100% given that saree to Parul, but she was probably way too busy in event preparation that she overlooked it. And when Mishti remembered, couldn’t she have given Kuhu the gift to give to Parul? But no. Mishti HAD to be the one to gift it to Parul just to make Kuhu look like the shallow one with a superiority complex.

I just want to cry. Kunal and Kuhu’s story is actually over. It looks like the makers don’t want to explore their story any further. WHY does this always happen to me? From Kabir-Anushka in Saraswatichandra to Lakshman-Urmila in Ramayan and Naksh-Keerti in YRKKH, I’ve been falling over and over and over for the parallel/supporting couples instead of the main couple and it’s made my life MISERABLE. Allow me to go dig myself a hole and sob in it.

Well kunal always prioritized meenu and abir above anyone and always think about family if u remember intial episode kunal clearly stated that he is not ready for the alliance but still on abir's saying he said yes for the alliance and despite of all the compatibility issues he is ready to marry mishti. Then during baba track meenu asked him to stop fighting with kuhu but he himself agreed to stop fighting with mishti also for sake of abir and family unity . During mahashivratri whatever happened with abir make him loose his cool and he harshly questioned to parul when nidhi pointed to him due to which abir got angry and never forgive him or tried to understand him . He clearly reminded him that parul is his mom . Then during holi also kunal went to meenu to close the coffee spiking . So it is hard for kunal to go to meenu to take advice on accepting parul on other hand abir do not talk to him properly he is still angry on him so he go to take advice from mishti as before nishmish roka kunal clearly realises that he is not understand his brother p totally like he thought and kuhu is the first person who helped him to face parul after the truth revelation. So according to past incidents kunal actually behaved normal in this matter.

Heyo Meera! Tumne to dil ki baat chheen li. I mostly read the AT before watching the episode to reduce the amount of disappointment I would feel. After I read your and Riya's message every morning, I know to not dig up my expectations from their grave but I saw this post quoted and my disappointment has surfaced so Imma vent now!

(1) 💯 taka saachi vaat!!! I had so many expectations for this scene but nahi!!! Makers had to do it in the worst possible way. I wanted it to be an intimate moment between the two with Kuhu (and maybe the whole family) looking on with happy tears in her eyes. Can someone send MishBir on a honeymoon so they stop meddling in Kunal's life? Let the dude take his own sweet time! It's not even been a month in the story's timeline since Kunal found out the truth!!! *Bangs head*

(2) I am so tired of this superiority complex thing. I didn't really mind the saree scene but I do mind the random scenes where they try to show that Mishti is not superficial but Kuhu is. Can the makers stop doing this?? And someone ship BM off somewhere. What did she mean yesterday when she said ki "Mujhe poora bharosa hai ki Mishti ko ek ribbon kaatne ka laalach nahi hoga". It seemed like a direct hit on Kuhu. If you don't like your granddaughter, just say it no! I really don't like that woman.

Hey guys!

I have been thinking of writing an OS/HC, whatever works out. If y'all have any suggestions, wishes, or ideas, lemme know and I'll see if I can do justice to it.

Goodnight🤗

Oooooh maybe an OS or HC on a scene that involves just Kuhu, Kunal, and Parul? I’ve really wanted a sweet scene with just the three of them for so long!!!

I think you can write about those 3 month divorce period...it will be interesting to read how gradually Kunal developed feeling for kuhu and not realised...I know it will be long...but atleast you can try it chapter wise...and it can be put in FF section... because their is no FF on kuku.

Hello, all the lovely people of this AT,

I am glad that there are still discussions going on about this doomed couple. 😆

After Friday's episode, I was heartbroken that my ship sank without any trace and I was determined not to come to the AT and spoil everyone's mood with my pessimism. But this show is like a bad habit that I just can't break and I came back to peek here if anyone else was feeling this negative. 🥺 Looks like the whole fandom is hopeless about this couple and personally I am not even sure that I will continue to watch the show from tomorrow.

I think I am one of the few people who loved this couple ever since the first episode. I waited patiently for a year to see a proper story between these two characters but the writers are more interested in showing forced drama rather than the progression in the storyline and characters.

The characters whom I fell in love with are almost unrecognizable now. Kuhu used to handle every situation maturely and she never ill-treated Parul even when she didn't know that she is Kunal's mom but now suddenly she thinks she is the "naukrani" and now she is blaming Mishti again? * edited as bashing the FL is not allowed*

And Kunal is suddenly seeking advice from FL whom he used to hate just a month ago? I get that he has accepted her as Abir's wife but was it really necessary to forcefully show that now he runs to the FL to take advice on if he should talk to his wife or not? *edited* Did everyone forget that she brought her best friend as her fake boyfriend and almost married him but left him at the altar for her ex-lover, that too after making everyone believe that she was happy about the marriage? But of course, it's an ITV show where every character of the show is butchered to show to glorify the FL. The same thing has happened to Kuhu and Kunal's character.

I don't even know if Kuhu should be with someone like Kunal. Kuhu flourishes when she gets the support and attention of people around her and is not compared to someone else constantly. But that is never going to happen till the time she is in RV bhawan or with Kunal. I have said this before but after Friday's episode, I am certain that Kunal is not meant to be in any romantic relationship. Even if he was not married to Kuhu but someone else, who was not even related to Mishti, he would have ruined that person's life because there is no place for anyone else in his life other than his bhai, ma and now Parul and his favorite(😲) bhabhi. He just sees an event planner when he looks at Kuhu that was the reason why he doesn't find her worth sharing any important details and decisions of his life. And this behavior further inflates Kuhu's insecurities and lack of trust in Kunal.

The writers have made a massive blunder by neglecting to show the proper storyline to KuKu. For the quality and longevity of any show, it is important not just focused on just one or two characters. There is a limited storyline that can be shown by solely focusing on two characters and their romance. That is the reason ITV shows take numerous leaps and show marriages of leads with other people and so many other crazy storylines. If the show had focused on other characters as well it would have been much more interesting to watch. As a viewer, I would have loved to see mama and mami's struggles with living with Meenu especially after Ketu's life was almost destroyed because of Meenu's stubbornness. It would have also been interesting to see some scenes between Shaurya and Varsha, Ketu's character could have been given some ongoing side plot about her college or career. The shows like Grey's Anatomy has been running successfully for almost 15 years just because it focuses on the stories of all the characters rather than just the lead character. But I think it's my mistake to expect too much from the ITV shows.

Sorry for the loooong rant. But after wiring all this, I strangely I feel much better about the disastrous end of my favorite couple.

P.S. Loved the discussion about This is us and comparisons drawn between Randall n Kevin and Kuhu n the FL. I was actually thinking of Kevin and Randall when I watched the scene where Kuhu said something about her feelings being invalidated and called tantrums.(don't remember the exact dialogues) Their characters and relationship are similar in so many ways. I love each and every character of This is Us and still cry like a baby when I watch the episode when Jack's fate was revealed. ( Actually who am I kidding? I cry in each and every episode of This is us 🤣)

The post has been edited by DT . Kindly refrain from mocking and bashing the FL in the AT.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in to say that yesterday's episode actually gave me hope that there is story left in the Kuku story, but just as a predicted last week, it's going to be verrrry slow and their scenes are going to be few and far between. This seriously reminds me of their wedding phase, when it was their wedding in name, but we only got a proper scene of theirs once a week, if we were lucky. In fact, it was only when Kunal was drunk that we got any semblance of insight into his conflict.

My point is, the model of the storytelling hasn't changed from Day 1. The volume of Kuku scenes we got recently was a huge exception and now it feels like we're back to the usual pace of things, with the focus heavily on the leads and giant gaps in the Kuku story. Honestly, less time-consuming for me because I can just focus on these two and their scenes. 😉

Now what gave me hope yesterday? Simple. They established well that Kunal still doesn't know what to do with a non-ideal Kuhu and Kuhu still does not trust Kunal with that side of her. BUT Abir and Parul made the first step in providing her with people who she can trust to love her despite her mistakes. Is Kuhu hiding the truth and Kunal trying to avoid it going to blow up in their faces? 100% BUT when that happens, Kuhu has people in her corner -- she is not alone at the mercy of Meenu now.

Parul's advice to Abir was great. She has actually understood the girls really well -- Kuhu wears her heart on her sleeve and Mishti is an overthinker. This is why this battle (not against Kuhu but against her own insecurities) is always going to be harder for Mishti. All Kuhu needs to be happy and secure is a loving, supportive environment; if she has that, her 'bachpana' manifests as the innocence and the carefree attitude that allows her to spread joy to everyone and bring humour out in even the most reserved people (Kunal and Meenu being case in point). When she feels insecure, that same bachpana manifests as these impulsive, harmful acts.

Parul's sensitivity and thoughtfulness always amazes me.

Mishti always overthinks her actions and forcibly suppresses conflict, so she loses control over the truth. This ends up backfiring on her when it comes out at the wrong times and places, often as a recoil effect from her own suppression. Kuhu and Mishti's insecurities end up fuelling each other so what I saw yesterday was Abir and Parul trying to break the cycle by addressing Kuhu's insecurities and giving her that support that makes her the Kuhu they know from before MA's marriage. Mishti's issues are far more complex so they basically set the foundation to address them by removing Kuhu as an instigator.

And this might be a bit of a stretch, but with my handy filters on, it actually felt like Kunal was subtly passing on the baton of managing Abir and Meenu to Mishti. He was properly explaining what a mess of a relationship they have and how keeping the peace is never as easy as right and wrong.

I really liked that scene. Not sure in which manner did Mishti perceive Kunal's views because those were in a way applicable at that point to both Meenu-Abir as well as Mishti-Kuhu.

Even the conversation between them in the latest episode was quite nice. In both the conversations, neither of them was trying to thrust their opinion on one another. They simply put their points forth and left the other person to think through and decide.

Finally, I wish Abir could be as sensitive with Kunal as he is with Kuhu. Parul made the decision to take BB's deal, Parul encouraged Kunal's relationship with BB and never interefered, and Parul told Abir she is happy with what she has. If Kunal is BB's son, then Abir is hers too, as she said herself. She's happy with Kunal's little gestures and attempts and doesn't need what Abir is pushing on him, and in fact there is a high chance that this will backfire. Abir is hyper aware of his mom and her intentions but his major weakness is wanting to "defeat" her once and for all -- Kunal is the one who understands that her issues need to be managed, and that there is no permanent cure.

@bold Exactly what I thought too. Abir was being so patient and calm with Kuhu, but he doesn't demonstrate the same understanding and thoughtfulness when it comes to Kunal.

It's interesting because with the way Abir handled Kuhu, just by being deliberate and sensitive, he put a bigger obstacle in Meenu's path than he ever could with direct confrontation. BUT with the way he is handling Kunal, he is unravelling his own handiwork at the same time. This tells me that along with sisters, the brothers' issues are far from resolved. Kunal's bhaiyopia is obvious (because #manipulativewriting) but Abir is also falling prey to his lifelong need to alienate Kunal from Meenu and leave her completely alone. If it was just about giving Parul a higher status, he is actually in a better position to that than Kunal, AND Parul considers him a son anyway, so why does it have to be Kunal?

I felt it is not about giving a higher status to Parul in the family (tho thinking of it, the RV fam could have done so long ago. They could have empowered Parul to have the same standing in the family which Kaushal or Nidhi have. Not meaning to sound insensitive but if a third person gets to have an impression that Parul is a house help, it is also because the family has not done anything to change that impression) And I think Abir's intention might not havs been to alienate Kunal from Meenu but unwittingly he is only ending up doing so.

I only realised once I started writing how much I had pent up! 😆 Underneath all the melodrama, this show seems to want to hold on to that thread of good writing and I couldn't be more frustrated by that! 😡 🤣

Brilliantly analysed as always Sam!
