Yeah they just needed spice up .. make MJ more villainous and Mayra more intense and they needed a medium to do that.. with current characters it wasnt possible so they brought one more dark character to it..

And it's a romantic thriller..so romance is an integral part of it.. even in the end yest MJ asked..tumhe ab kaun bachayega and she said Rudra.. he is and will be her saviour again.. only thing is we have to see the dynamics post Rudra heart break and Maya with no memory..

There is twin possibilities..

Either this was in the past after her incident with MJ..

Or the whole past played again yest when MJ did what he did and he dint kill Maya and rather kept her in this condition to forget her revenge and stay away from Rudra also..

If it's the first then the promo looks very misleading which says naya insaan whatever

My guess is that this new guy is appointed by MJ or he coincidentally found her and started stalking her. If MJ considers himself smart then he should stop playing games and just kill Maya. Can't take anymore risks by keeping her alive.

If indeed MJ is behind this then Mayra meeting will be difficult but don't think cv's will drag it until the end of March as the show will collapse without Mayra
