Chapter 4
Brinda's POV
It was my wolf who is more happy than me. She finally found her mate and happily jumping in my head.
'Cool down Elsa' I said to her
'No..I'm so happy....I found my mate finally and you want me to cool down...I can't believe how you staying so cool...Go...Give him a hug and Kiss...'
'Shut up Elsa...' I said blushed, taking my hand from his face. He slowly opened his eyes.
Did I really wanted to hug and kiss him like Elsa said? Stop it Brinda...What wil he think about me...I mentally slapped me
"I...."
He looked at me.
"Yes Brinda....."
Ohh Goddess... So happy to hear my name from his mouth...It felt so right and perfect. I forget what I was trying to say.
"Brinda.." he called me " you were about to say something "
"I...I...I'm hungry......" that's what came from my mouth. He stared at me for sometime before a heart full laugh. I felt embarrassed. Finally he stop laughing and look at me "I'm sorry for laughing at you..." standing from the bed, he walked towards the door saying "will send your food here...Till then rest..."
Can't he stay with me for some more time. I'm already missing him.Side effect of finding your mate and I love it. I lay down again in the bed, smiling.
After sometimes, I heard that someone opening the door.
Meena's POV
I was in kitchen when bhai came looking for me.
"What happened bhai? You looks so happy"
From his face I was able to read that everything is going good between him and Brinda
"She is accepting Brinda...But slowly... "
"But don't worry bhai...She will accept you completely, soon...Trust me..." I hugged him.
"Hope so meena..."saying this he hug me back.
"But what are you doing here bhai? You should be with her...."I looked him surprisingly, breaking the hug.
"Oh...Meena...I came here for that...She need food.. I mean she is hungry...I want you to bring some food for her"
"Where are you going bhai...??"
"I have some work Meena..I'll be in my office room. If you need anything call me through mind link"
With that he walked out of kitchen. I grabbed some food in a tray and marched towards my room. I slowly opened the door,saw that Brinda raised her head from pillow and look back above her shoulder. I undearstood that she was expecting someone else from her facial expression. I smiled at her.
"Wasn't expecting me to come...Right?"
She didn't said anything. But I saw a smile in her face.
"He is in his his office....He had some work to finish.."
I placed the food tray in her front " bhai said that you are hungry..So here it is..Please have it...."
She got up from her bed.
"Hey..What happend? Are you alright? Should I call bhai?" I asked all this in a one breath.
"Bathroom...." she said slowly
"Ooops...I'm sorry.... " I mentally slapped.
I watched her going to the bathroom. After some times she came back and sat beside me. She took the food tray and started to eat it. I looked at her amazingly. She is such a beautiful soul.After she finished I call out for a maid and she came, took the tray with her. We sat there in complete silent. I looked at her.
"Brinda...Are you ok...?" I asked. Her next movement shocked and surprised me at the same time. She hugged me tightly. I understood that there is something haunting her deep inside in her heart.
Don't worry Brinda..My bhai will make everything fine...He won't let anyone or anything hurt you, I said in my mind and hugged her back.
Dev's POV
I was in my office with my Beta and Gamma, who are my best friend too.
"Amal..Did you find anything?" I asked to my Beta
"Yes Dev..We searched the whole place where Meena found Brinda.We found a Cave near there and we guess, that was the place where she was staying "
My mate was in a cave? For how long?
"Dev...Are you listening?" Amal touched my shoulder.
"Yes...I'm....."
"We found a bag and few things in that cave" they placed a bag in front of me. I opened it. Her dresses and and a family photo. The photo got scratches, so they faces was not clear. But I guess its Brinda with her parents and brother. What happened to her family? I have to find out. But can't ask her now. She already gone through so much. I have to wait till she herself reveals everything to me. I place her bag in a shelf. Heard someone knocking on the door.
"Come in "
"Bhai....." Meena came with a sweet smile.
"What happened Meena? Is everything ok? "
"Ohoo bhaiii...Relax....Your Brinda is ok..."
I heard chuckles from behind. Its Amal and Kiran.I growled at them and they kept silent. But I can still see the smile in their faces.
"Someone is already missing his mate" I heard Kiran whispering to Amal.I didn't said anything. Actually they are right. I'm already missing my mate. I just want to go to her. I dismiss the meeting and walked out of my office room followed by Meena. When I turn towards to go to saw my mate,I felt Meena grabbing my hand from behind.
" She is so scared to something bhai...Something is haunting her...I think its her past...Please make sure that you won't force her to tell anything "
I smiled at my sister's concern towards Brinda "Don't worry Meena...I won't... " I said before I go to meet my mate.
When I entered the room, I saw that Brinda was standing near the window, staring the moon and stars.
"Hi..." I called her slowly, don't want to make her startled. She turned to look at me with a small smile on her lips, which indicates that she knows that I'm here.Of course she know. She can smell my scent.
"Hi..." she murmured
"How you doing?"
"I'm fine..."
"You should be in bed..its so late..."
"I can't sleep...I tried.... But I can't... "
I doubted for a second, but slowly put my hands around her shoulder. I was happy that she didn't try to move away.
"Come...."
We walked towards the bed and I make her lay down.
"Just close your eyes.........And sleep will come....."
When I turn to go, she grabbed my hand. I looked at her.
"Stay.....Please... "
I was surprised. I didn't expected this. Rex is so happy by her word, that he very badly want to stay with mate,So do I. I sat beside her in the bed. She placed her head in my lap and grabbed my hand to make sure I'm note leave once she fell asleep. She closed her eyes slowly. I couldn't help,but placed a soft kiss on her forehead. She smiled. But didn't open her eyes.
Brinda's POV
I opend my eyes when the sunlight hit my face. I tried to get up but felt a strong grip on my waist. I was panicked and about to shout, but the scent hit on my face and I looked at him, relaxed
It's Dev. He is sleeping beside me. Then I remembered about last night. I don't know what got into me, but when I saw he is leaving I grabbed his hand and asked him to stay, which he happily agreed. I was so happy to know that he didn't leave me when I fell asleep. He looks so cute in his sleep and of course he is handsome and hot. I felt my cherk is turning red in his thought.
I slowly tried to take off his hand from my waist.
Oh......Man.......He is so strong....
"Good morning... " I heard his husky voice and turned towards to see that he is awake.
"Morning..... " I said staring in his eyes.
I love his beautiful brown eyes... He slowly released me from his grip and got up from the bed.
"See you at breakfast" he walks towards the door.
"Dev..." I called and he stopped in his midway
