I interpreted the dialogue differently. He meant to convey that Prerna is no more the aimless woman she was 8 years ago. He has transformed her into something else.

P says if he is here

Cutesy RB , so blinded by love and a total JKG . Even if he sees her openly flirting with A I don’t think he’ll ever think bad of her coz it was already proven by him in actions that he trusts her( god knows how or why). That’s what a great guy RB is and shows what a stick in the mud P is. Really it’s grating, day in and day out to read her obnoxious behavior. God give us all strength to grit our teeth and bear this soulmate jaap.
