I don't necessarily mean actors. It could be anyone from any part of the film/music industry.

Anyone who is normal or genuine doesn't seem to be achieving fame. The ones who either show they struggled, or had a troubled childhood or were bullied/depressed are getting famous, all the limelight etc.

Ofc I am not making fun of this fact but how come everyone is having the same story?!

In the West, singers like Billie Eilish are getting insanely popular...and her songs creep the hell out of me. The music videos are also weirdly directed and it seems they are targeted at the current teen gen who have a "fad" about depression (this is NOT a joke) and who are 15 but seem to know everything about heartbreak and pain and sadness. Its really freaky. No one can sing and perform lively songs these days like how Britney, Beyonce, Shakira did.

The new mumble rappers are also freaky with very weird music videos...then Eminem comes and crushes them.

In Bollywood everyone has faced some sort of struggle and it looks like they are all trying to cash on it? Celebs like Amitabh B, Jeetender had it so much more tough but u don't see them talking abt their struggles all the time. Big B almost lost his life on the sets of Coolie but we don't see him talking abt it all the time. There might be genuine cases but everyone going thru this?!

Bollywood romantic songs also seem to have so much pain in it...can love not be happy?! Or do the singers need to cry on the mic all the time?

Just few days ago Armaan Mallik deleted everything off his instagram and just put out one picture saying "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE". I got worried for a second before I saw that he has signed onto Arista Records to release his first English single. The above line was probably lyrics from his song but is this supposed to be a good way of promotion?! Scaring everyone and then announcing something positive?!

What the hell is going on?

Depression, loss and heartbreaks are not something to be cashed on or made fun of. It can cause serious mental trauma and can scar a person for life. How things have taken such a weird turn is beyond my understanding. There are some seriously genuine cases out there but its turned into a fiasco off late.
