MayRa Consummation

Ok let's face it this is a hot topic for us all right now so it deserves its own thread while keeping within IF rules 😆

So far I am absolutely loving BH2.

The only issue I have with the writers is MayRa physicall relationship. Understandably initially Maya was hesitant but she has gotten over that now so why have they delayed the kissing/consummation? I'm not saying this as a MayRa fan but any neutral viewer will also find it odd how two people so madly in love and so comfortable physically have still not done it despite sharing the same bed and being all over each other this is the only thing that's annoying me and I hope the CVs have a good enough reason for this.

Rudra doubting Mayas love and using this as a reason for her not having s*x will be so cliché I hope this is not what the CVs are planning. Their love story has been written so beautifully but it is failing in this area without a logical explanation Please CVs prove me wrong!

What are your thoughts on the delay? How is this going to shape the story ahead? Will we be caught off guard and have this happen soon? Funny or serious let's hear them out again please keep the responses clean 😆

As I said...I can see the same cliché ahead.Not getting intimate is not a problem for Rudra he had already clearly memtioned.But the problem will arise when Rishi's death comes out.She had pretended to be in love with Rishi.So its not is fault to think that she has been doing the same with him all along.He will feel she only used him to enter the Roy Mansion and take on his enemies.

This is the only option I can see..unless off course we are taken by surprise before the mess starts😆

This is Indian Television prime time slot, Incest is not everyone's cup of tea, Even in Game of Thrones, Jon Snow who loved Daenerys moved away from her after getting to know the truth about his relationship with her, What MayRa fans see is two good looking people going at it, what neutral audience sees is Rudra making love with someone who was about to give birth to his half brother

On the other hand I think they will do it during Holi celebration

First of all will rishi truth be revealed to Rudra.. till now the precaps have been misleading only.. so I am not sure..

But if the same is to happen also considering the new entry etc..

My take is that Rudra took the Maya jaisingh and made her Maya Rudra Roy.. the MJ side of her gone and she went from bloody revenge to rightful revenge ...with antara ends all of MJs relationship allies and the women in his group.. left are these men who truly deserve no less than death for what they did to Manvi..

For that Rudra will be needed and so will his love strengthen not Maya but Manvi.. it wont be mind games alone.. it will be tougher and deadlier.. Rudra knowing about rishi will prove a boon because Maya wont have a baggage any more.. they could have separated MayRa in any way but they chose this because its a dark show..

Tbh I don't think Rudra will doubt Maya's love due to lack of physical intimacy. Rather he may and mostly will doubt her love for him coz as you rightly said he will find out she pretended to be in love with Rishi and killed him. So that doubt is very relevant.

As for the intimacy thing, as I was discussing elsewhere, he will feel insecure about it once he sees this ex or future hubby of Maya pursue her. He has a fragile ego after his gf incident and things with Maya are unfortunately heading in the same direction.

Jon didn't move away from her coz she was his aunt. He moved away due to her losing sanity and becoming a mad queen as Tyrion & Sansa kept warning him and he saw it when she burnt down Kings Landing.

Also in GOT, the entire Lannister line is filled with incest- Jamie & Cersei are poster children of incest.

Irrespective of this, I disagree with you calling MayRa incest. But we have debated this before so won't discuss further.

Jon killed her after she burnt King's Landing.

Jon moving away from her when she tried to kiss him before war, Varys and Tyrion's betrayal was the only reason she went berserk, She wasn't Mad queen, she just didn't trust Cersei because Cersei had killed her Best friend after Tyrion's peace offerings

Cersei had to go through that horrible walk of atonement with people pelting stones at her for incest and adultery, The show depicted incest from different point of views so I won't go there, but Jon didn't want to continue his relationship with Daenerys after he got to know the truth

I don't recall debating MayRa's relationship status with you, although it's about perspective and I respect your views on this. I believe the only reason for delay is Maya's relationship with MJ

I am expecting more from the CVs and no cliché tried and tested (and hated!) story line they can do much better than that and I cannot wait to find out. On the other hand I too hope we are given this special gift before shit hits the fan 😆

Rudra needs this release in order to get his brain working again 😆

They are married now. We are talking from a neutral audience perspective not MayRa fan or someone who does not agree with the concept. Why would CVs get them to fall in love and marry but not move on physically? I too hope we get to see this during Holi sequence, most of the story is kept under wrap maybe this will happen when we are least expecting it.

Sadly she was one of my fave characters and very unjustly portrayed as dehumanized in the last moments. She didn't need to kill all those innocents, just Cersei, as was the original plan.

Cersei never had any remorse for her incest despite the walk of shame. She in fact loved her children with Jamie & loved Jamie as best as she could, tho she loved power more.

About the delay, I feel the channel/makers are not comfortable themselves. Getting a third angle, buys them time. Maybe the 10:30pm slot would work?
