Pity the tourist who already planned ahead to visit India.

We had plans but then cancelled it . But airlines refused to refund as till now flights has not been cancelled. Hopefully will get our refund once the flights are officially cancelled. Even with our OCI card we cannot visit till apr 3rd .Ireland is entering into partial lockdown mode, all schools and colleges are closed till 29th. Travel is restricted, funerals and weddings will be restricted to 100 people for indoor .. supermarkets are crowded, rice is not available in the supermarkets .. scary but people are recovering ..

Hope you get your refund....travelling is a big risk right now...the virus spread due to late measures from government that cared more about economy/politics than people.

We are also getting into more strict restriction slowly in Canada....our Prime Minister allocated 1 billion $ fund for all stuff regarding the fight against the virus... including 275 million for medical research and vaccine development.... 50 million will be given to other countries that needs measures to stop the spread. The world figure skating championship and Saint Patrick parade is cancelled in Montreal...also the hockey season is cancelled...no more games until new orders...they also suspended NBA season after players tested positive. Today our Prime Minister's wife showed symptoms after a trip from London so the Prime Minister is under isolation until the test result for his wife comes. Everyone is stocking up ....It's quite scary...hope we come out of this pandemic soon.

@bold : so true .. cheltenham festival should have been cancelled but because of the revenue it generate it went ahead . Now both UK and Ireland are bracing for the spread ..

st.patricks day parade is cancelled here too .. hope we all come out soon from this ..
