Currently there are quite a few serials where Mothers play a very important role, either good or bad😎.

Here is a low down on the Best and Worst Mothers on Marathi TV😉.

Arundhati(Aai Kuthe Kaay Karte) : She is a well-balanced woman and a mother👍🏼. I think she takes a bit too much flak from her children😈 which is not good IMO. However she is quick and firm when her children misbehave.

Rukmini(Navri Mile Navryala): Pivot of the family⭐️. She knows when she has to aggressive and when she has to back down. A very principled woman who prohibits her four sons from doing anything wrong. Always worries about well-being of her sons but at the same time has being a very good Saasu and wife👍🏼.

Madhura(Anandi Hey Jag Saarey): The fact that Madhura is bringing up an Autistic child in loving manner, not seeking victimhood for her child, puts her on another level⭐️⭐️⭐️. She never gets angry with her daughter, teaches her things necessary to lead a normal life.

====================================WORST========================================

Tai Madam(Mrs Mukhyamantri): Her hatred for Sumi is so great that she does not even hesitate to harm her son🤢. Her son might have died in the attack but she is ok with it. The pits☢️.

Mai(RKC-2): The submissive wife created a bad mother👎🏼, as she herself admitted. If she had stood up against Anna her children would not have suffered so immensely 😒but then there would not have been RKC-2😆.

Asavari(Aggabai Sasubai): She thinks world of her son😳. For her, he is the best boy in the whole wide world. Completely blind to his antics she has made him a uncouth brat of highest calibre😆.

I don't watch other serials, so this could be biased in a way.

Asa being a single mother, is the dumbest I've ever seen. Aru is a smart mother; it's her husband and MIL that undermine her capabilities.

Yes, and she has the spine of correcting her kids on her own. She doesn't need a knight in shining armour to tackle brats.

IMO, Aru has only basic education and never worked that is why she is timid as you say.

It's a remake of Bengali show 'Srimoyee'. Yes, she'll undergo transformation eventually.
