Akki fans had also done a negative trend on Rohit. He didn't unfollow Akki though (Only showed displeasure sending fanclubs note, or else this Akki fan would not have known), and that again proves he is an MCP.

Katrina giving an explanation while Rohit himself doesn’t seem to be bothered by it at all reminds me of when Salman made his stupid rape comment and his father apologized while salman himself didn’t even say boo. I still don’t think the clarification is her own decision entirely.

Anyway, Kat was obviously asked to post this. I doubt she did it on her own. I'm surprised they take things like twitter trends so seriously. Why bother? Just ignore it and fans will forget in 2 days.

The industry men always have other people clean up their mess. Hrithik's dad and Salman's dad are always in the media protecting their 50 year old sons.

Karan made SRK tweet in his favor after he was caught liking ugly tweets. Rohit or Akshay or someone must have made Kat post a clarification to save Rohit.

Yesterday many Akki fans also took part in the trend. They can't stand Rohit. Upar se it was Women's Day... many woke Bolly tweeter also joined the trend.

Even Ajay fans were making fun of Shetty today.

One explanation, though very unlikely, is that the buzz for the movie isn’t as good as they were hoping and KJo thinks this controversy will affect the multiplex numbers.

The more likely explanation is that Rohit has thrown a fit behind the scenes and they are worried about how this will affect promotions. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Clearly removing the quote from the original interview yesterday didn’t do the trick 🙄.
