It’s sad about Kalank and SD but I feel that October and Sui Daaga were bad moves. Hopefully Varun bounces back.

Isn't that the whole point here. Tiger will not get the best directors (or) the best directors out there won't work with Tiger. Because he is a non-actor. He is the Sunil Shetty of the generation, only Tiger debuted at a much younger age, unlike Shetty.

Even Sunil Shetty got Priyadarshan much later in his career after he developed some comic timing. Tiger has nothing at the moment except muscles and dance. He will have to settle for low brow/low-grade directors. The only hope here is he gets better at script/story selection or those directors give him a good product.

Salman, of course, wasn't an action hero, to begin with, and he was part of the greatest/historic hit very early in his career. Which is why Tiger is no Salman. He is just filling the action space for masses who want to see someone young. It is the reason why Prabhas also has a chance to succeed. But, if Tiger gets few flops back to back, it would be a big struggle to comeback for him.
