Baaghi 3 Second Day Early Estimates

Baaghi 2 saw a drop in collections on day two as it collected in the 15.5-16 crore nett range. The drop was expected at mass centres but the problem is the major multiplexes have also dropped 5% when they could have gone up as it was a Saturday.

The two day collections are around 33 crore nett which is a good number and there is Sunday and a holiday to come on Monday so despite the drop the film is still doing pretty well. But with this Saturday drop it will be hard for the film to sustain for long at the bigger multiplexes so it will be down to smaller multiplexes and single screens.

The film must resume upward trajectory again on Sunday as mass centers will be into play and the major metros dont grow much on Sunday anyway though being a holiday on Monday it may help. the business on Saturday remained strong in Gujarat, Bihar, Odisha and CP Berar.

There will be some corona affect on the film but that would have 10-15% like on Friday and would not have made too much difference to the trend of the film.

10% matlab real value is 18/19 crores, that is also not a good figure for such a huge release.

That virus may be nothing in India but rest of world is shit scared. An considering we had ajay/kajol movie, Varun, and Deepika films in 2020. Imho it’s pretty impressive Tiger has outperformed them outside of India. Hope the lifetime is respectable

Baaghi 3 Second Day Business

Baaghi 3 saw a drop in collections of a little over 12% as mass centres saw the normal drops for an action film but the bigger multiplexes failed to show growth. The second day collections was 15.50 crore nett which takes the two day total of the film to 33 crore nett.

The two day numbers are still pretty good though not up to the level of the last film in the franchise. it is the metros and other places like Chandigarh and Jaipur where the collections are not what they should be. Bihar, CP Berar, Nizam/ Andhra (Marathawada strong) are all doing well with Gujarat / Saurashtra being the best of the lot as that went up on Saturday.

The film is going to have a good three day weekend even if Sunday growth is just decent and this will be despite the trend not being so good. The fate of the film will not be known for a few days yet as its Holi on Monday and some states remain in holiday period post Holi. if the film does well for the next 3-4 days it will emerge a HIT film. The coincidence is that all three Baaghi franchise films have dropped on day two. The collections of Baaghi 3 are as follows.

Friday - 17,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 15,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 33,00,00,000 apprx

Oh boy if that above verdict happens, it's gonna piss off soooooo many people here!

What a shame. Movies like Baaghi earning money while an excellent movie and an essential watch like Thappad did not. This shows most of the Indian audience’s mentality which is very poor. They want to watch only brainless movies that will do not good to them and the country in any way. Plus a waste of money.
