Guys!! As Diya mentioned above about the 1 year celebration, she would like a KuKu banner from our side because they have already decided on one for MishBir. Is anyone good at making edits?

Now, on to the story! This is set somewhere between kal and aaj ke episodes. I have tried to keep it as close to canon as possible. Let me know if I missed something.

As soon as the Maheshwari family left, Kuhu ran towards the stairs to go check up on her Abir bro but she was so scared and worried that her feet took her to the terrace garden. It took her almost 10minutes before she was able to get her breathing under control. When she felt that she could breathe again, she decided to take another shot at checking up on Abir. She walked into his room hesitantly, hoping against hope, that he might've regained consciousness but alas! There he lay on the bed, unconscious, in an empty room, no Mishti in sight.

As she sat down beside him, tears streaming down her face and the events from the past 24 hours running through her head, she could feel her head throbbing. Thoughts were racing inside her brain at lightning speed and all she could catch were faint echoes of "....bali ki bakri...meri dawaaiyaan...koi secrets nahi...saazish...Abir!..". She put one hand over her ear and the other clenched the bedsheet as she squeezed her eyes shut and whispered over her sobs, "I am sorry! I am sorry, Abir bro!"

She slowly opened her eyes as she felt her thoughts slowing down. She gently took Abir's hand in her hands and said, "Kaash maine sabko coffee peene se rok diya hota to aaj aap iss haal me nahi hote. Sab meri galati hai! Sab meri galti hai! Pata nahi mujhe kya ho gaya hai? Mai kisi ko hurt karne ke baare me soch bhi kaise sakti hu? Meri wajah se aap aaj pooja nahi kar paaye. Meri wajah se aap itne ghanto se iss bed pe hai. I promise, Abir bro, maine ye jaan boojh ke nahi kiya tha. Wo to mujhe dhakka laga aur pills gir gayi. Mujhe to pata bhi nahi tha ki pills coffee me hai bhi ya nahi. Par mujhe chance nahi lena chahiye. Mujhe wo pills nikalne ke baare me sochna bhi nahi chahiye tha. Pata nahi gusse me mujhe kya ho jaata hai but I swear! Mai wo pills nahi daalne waali thi. Wo galti se gir gayi. I am sorry! I am so so sorry, Abir bro!! Please uth jaaiye! Please!"

"Kuhu?!"

Kuhu left Abir's hand, wiped her tears and stood up in a hurry as she saw Mishti standing at the door.

"Mishti! Mai bas Abir bro ko dekhne aayi thi. Mai neeche jaa kar dekhti hu baaki sab theek hai ya nahi", and with that she ran out the door, confirming Mishti's suspicions. Mishti decided to leave the matter till Abir was conscious and well and she sat down beside him urging him, or rather threatening him to open his eyes lest he wanted to be subject to her amateur poetry skills.

What neither of the two sisters had realised was that Abir had been semi-conscious for a while now. He just didn't have the strength to move his body. As sore as his body felt, his brain was picking up speed, trying to comprehend Kuhu's apology when Mishti started threatening him about how she wouldn't let him tie the haar around her neck and all he wanted in that moment was to somehow make his Angry Chorni realise that he was okay, that he was awake but his body was in no mood to listen to his demands.

[Insert MishBir scene, kitchen scene and rest of the episode]

So, this is my first ever story. I know have been writing descriptive stuff till now but this is the first properly written thing. Please please please tell me if it was alright or not. What are the points I could improve on?? Any and all criticism is welcome. I really do want to improve🥱

The story was really good. I hope this was the way that the truth came out, It seems much more realistic this way. I liked the way Kuhu confessed to everything directly to Abir instead of someone else figuring it out.

Ria you have said everything that I felt while watching the episode. I am so disappointed with KuKu relationship development. How can Kunal not know it was Kuhu's birthday and especially after it was mentioned with such importance during the first rasoi competition. And he didn't even wish her and wants Abir's opinion on Kuhu's gift? I hate the way Kunal's character is shaping up. He seems so passive. He always needs a push from Kuhu, Abir and now Mishti (??? 🤢) to do something.

Kuhu has given him so many hints about the long drive and haar but he goes to Abir to ask for advice?

It seems like Kuhu's character is used to make FL look good and Kunal's character is used to look ML look better. And why was Kunal not included in the surprise for HIS wife?

Writers have seriously failed in writing KuKu's relationship and I feel like it is time to move on from this show since they will not be developed any further. Kuhu will always be concerned about "limelight", Rajvash surname and her importance compared to Mishti. Kunal will always run around Abir like a lost puppy.

And even if we get a KuKu separation, we will not get any character development and proper scenes. It will be one more opportunity for Kuhu to blame Mishti and Kunal to run to his bhai for comfort and advice.

Sorry for all the negativity but since I started watching the show regularly just for KuKu, I am extremely disappointed with the direction that their story is going.

I will wait till the holi track gets over to see if there is any character development for KuKu otherwise I will bid goodbye to this show and this couple. 💔

We're all in the same boat here, Nikki😔. The fandom on Instagram also seems to be super low. Really waiting for KuKu to be given some importance again. We're not even asking for a lot because we know they are not main leads but thodi to footage do yaar. Jab mauka hai, tab bhi aise karenge to kaise chalega. Okay, can we all give the show time till the 1 year mark rather than just Holi? I would assume that they both would collide but still. I know we aren't getting any scenes as of now but KuKu/KaVik have been amazing for the past year. Can we all increase participation for the celebration? Kya pata itna pyaar dekh kar makers ka bhi dil pighal jaaye? (There must be someone who is responsible for feedback from online portals because they're running a business)

Also, if things don't get better, we could make this a farewell thing. (Wow!! Likhte hue hi meri khud ki spirits neeche aa gayi) But seriously, can we all participate and spread some KuKu love as appreciation for the storyline we got till the 2nd wedding??😛

I so wanted Kuhu to have confessed rather than follow Jas's advice. And I was waiting to end the story after I saw today's episode but mood hi itna kharaab ho gaya ki mann hi nahi kiya.
