I'll tell you what the basic difference here is , abir directly confronts meenu because he knows his mom too well , he knew that his mom is behind mishti's haldi act ... meenu can't really blackmail abir with anything, the only card she had was kunal's truth and now toh she can't even use that....the difference is in the way abir handles the matter, abir will never share any important details with anyone even if he knows it , if he for some reason can't share with mishti, he won't share with anyone...he won't even reveal anything in anger ...he knows how to protect the truth and somewhere meenu also can't use this thing against him to create troubles for mishbir because she also knows that if she uses it , then she will also be in trouble 😆 Like meenu can't tell mishti that abir is hiding nannu 's drink fiasco truth from you , because she only herself advised nannu to do so 😆 Some truths remain between abir and meenu in such a way that abir has a upper hand over it and is sure that info wont be misused by meenu ...here the difference is that abir never trusts meenu

But in mishti's case, she ends up trusting meenu like the haldi case , baba case ...she involves third person and she involves third person in such a way that the third person gets chance to use the situation against her only ... mishti actually can't judge that how much info she can share .... how much info she should keep it to herself....n that's why she invites trouble for her , because third person uses that info against her only ... the thing is she ends up trusting meenu even after many bitter experiences
