Deepika's arrogance led to her downfall. She was the type that would sit at home like a queen and expect people to come to her. She even subtly started putting down male stars, bragged about her pay packet and let her PR go insane and constantly shaded everyone.

If she's realized that and started being more humble and asking for roles and quietly working instead of showing off, it will be much better for her in the long run.

I blame her fans too. They gaslighted her PR and PR kept chasing and pleasing them. Fans trended not my deepika when almost signed that film, she had to back off. May be atika conveyed msg to deepika ki her fans want her to speak so probably when she was in delhi she visited. Aur bahut kuch hai jo woh fans se diye gaye advices ko please karne ke liye karti hai.

As you said, she always waited for opportunities to come to her phir then thoda sm par kartik hrithik ka buzz hua toh unke saath show off kia, phir rumour start hui jisme koi truth nahi hai. She just keep doing things for sake of it. Fans ki sentiment hoti hai i understand par they put her on higher moral ground and when she is not. Isliye she come up with tactics to live up to what people expect of her. In real, probably she didn't even believe in all of that.

It's good that she's hustling and not sitting at home

I really like this side of hers as well...it's a part and parcel of being an ambitious woman without a godfather. She probably wants to boost her career and not like others who are taking it lightly after marriage

The moral high horse thing her fans did is hilarious and put her in a really bad spot. What's the point in singling out Luv Ranjan when she's happily worked with people like Amitabh who also had accusations against him? 90% of male filmmakers and actors have had women coming out against them. Even Salman had Ash accusing him of beating her up. Who's going to stop working with Salman? I don't mean just movies - going on Big Boss or Dus Ka Dum or doing skits in award shows - it's all work.

She got a Dharma movie instead of the Luv Ranjan one so I guess it's okay in that case. It's risky to work with a younger actress tho. All the tharki type fans that would have stanned Deepika will be concentrating on AnniePee in that movie.

He might be willing to give the kind of role PC had in Bajirao. It was a good role so no issues.

He worked with Aish after marriage in Guzarish but it was a dull kind of old lady role.

She confirmed shakun's film MAMI festival. Means talks were on before that. WhenShe lost on to Luv ranjan she looked out for other big projects like Draupadi and when that wasn't shaping up the intern remake was announced. She has only two films atm Shakun's next and bina director wali the intern.

I doubt Bhansali himself had anything to do with this. This was probably edited by their social media intern. It doesn't include Khamoshi, Devdas and Black and has disaster movies like Saawariya and Guzarish which nobody even likes. It doesn't seem like a personal insult of DP.

Even if he had something to do with it, Bhansali has always been rude and obnoxious. He told PC she got the main role in Ram-Leela and then suddenly dumped her and took Deepika. Then had the audacity to ask PC to do an item song in the movie. She swallowed her pride and did it and maintained her relationship which lead to her getting Bajirao. It was a supporting role but a really good one.

What's the point of self-respect that kills your career?
