Nobody has to switch reports, in ekta serial universe they won’t do dna report. They will rely on blood report alone to create doubt.

If the future did not hold the revenge drama, paternity would have been the major issue. As I see it paternity issue would be kept as a backup plan to be used later in case no when trps decrease after the upcoming revenge drama. Same as was done four months back. Since then Mohini has been saying it is Bajaj baby but the show was taken over by komo-prerna catfight. Same now.
